Palin Calls Global Warming Studies 'Snake Oil'
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, in a rare California appearance, called studies supporting global climate change a "bunch of snake oil science."
Palin spoke Monday before a logging conference in Redding, a town of 90,000 about 160 miles north of the state capital. The media were barred from the event, but The Associated Press bought a $74 ticket to attend.
Palin said California's heavy regulatory environment makes it difficult for businesses to succeed, a view that is shared by many business leaders in the state.
She criticized what she said were heavy-handed environmental laws. As Alaska governor, she said she sued the federal government to overturn the listing of polar bears as threatened.
She said she disagreed with the science the government used to support the listing.

Fresh water still freezes at 32 degrees, salt water at 28 degrees. For there to be any melting the arctic temperature must be above these temperatures. Only for about two months does this happen, further north, even less. How can any person with any sense believe there is excessive melting for two months, and no recovery for ten months? I have a bridge for sale, anybody interested?

They are not talking "Global Warming" in D.C., any talk on the issue has been postponed due to over 5' of snow. LOL I'm sure there are plenty of Al Gore fanatics that still wouldn't even dream of questioning his 'Global Warming' research. I would equate them with this old FAR SIDE clip: ... a young lad preparing to go into a school of 'Higher Learning', pushing against a door that clearly reads pull.

This is the same Sarah Palin who as (half) Governor created a sub-cabinet group to look at "carbon-trading markets" (Why THAT sounds like Al Gore Gobbledygook). She also charged the group to examine "the expanded use of alternative fuels, energy conservation, energy efficiency, renewable energy." You know, GREEN Jobs. The very thing she's mocking now. She now says that reducing greenhouse gas emissions will mean "job losses" and "economic costs."

This teleprompter argument is so tired. Are you under the impression that he's the first President to use one? Reagan, Bush I and II, Clinton, even Palin's speech at the RNC.... The big difference being that Obama's speech's usually involve policy....not pre-approved one liners that conservatives eat up. In fact...what are Sarah's policies? I can't seem to find all that much outside of what they teach in Republican's 101.
And you might want to learn a little more about the supposed 6th graders speech. I understand you got this from Hannity, but the teleprompters were not there for the 6th graders, and most people who bothered to read beyond a headline know that.

My understanding is that the British University destroyed their data and an interesting fact is the e-mails are stolen-e-mails put out by the left have a different kink of parentage, never stolen-leaked or some other sly method.
There are at least three different kinds of Siberian data that are reported missing from the tested data; tree rings ;temperatures ; ice cores. If any of these are true the data would be skewed. At times the values are reported missing after 1960. Who known, they want USA to pay a boodle.
The Danes raised wheat on Greenland from 950-1350 an impossible task now.
