Palin to Visit Fort Hood

Grieving soldiers and families at Fort Hood, Texas, will get a visit from Sarah Palin next month as part of her national book tour, her publisher told Washington Wire.
The former vice presidential candidate, whose book “Going Rogue,” will be released on Tuesday, had already agreed to visit the Army base, according to her publicist. She said that after last week’s shooting that left 13 people dead and 30 wounded, an official on the base contacted HarperCollins to say that Palin should stick with the planned appearance.

I'm glad Sarah is visiting Ft. Hood. Our men and women need to hear words spoken from the heart. They need to know there are people out there who have their backs covered. Sarah can do this.

Palin will be a welcomed site for morale at Fort Hood or any where else. She is a better American than most who have visited there and please do read between the lines on that one. It is hard to respect a Commander in Chief who quietly sits out of decision makings for what to do in Afghanistan and Iraq but then acts as though he gives a damn about the troops. His appearance at Foot Hood is nothing more than the typical left wing photo oppotunity. At least Palin is genuin despite the Obama medias attempts of deception to smear her name.

Some will jump on Palin for her past or lack of experience. But, what exactly did our President accomplish other than winning elections in his political past? And you never see it mentioned, but in a debate he said he would bomb Pakistan if necessary. Why the Palin hate? He was a community organizer. She was a mayor and Governor.

This was the FIRST time our PRESIDENT addressed his country regarding this horrific massacre at Fort Hood. How dare him. I would assume that anyone with half of an education (not to mention compassion, manners, respect, etc) would have thought twice about being so careless. Ahhhh... three more years.

Before she was the VP nominee, she visited some Alaska NG troops at Ramstein and Landstuhl. My son-in-law and his squadron saw her in person, said she was nice.
