Obama Going to Copenhagen, Despite Climategate
President Obama will travel to Copenhagen to attend an international conference on climate change, White House officials told Fox News.
The president is expected to travel to the United Nations summit on Dec. 9 before heading to Oslo to accept his Nobel Peace Prize.
At the summit, Obama will propose to cut greenhouse gas emissions by a range of 17 percent from 2005 levels by 2020, the White House said, adding that he wants to reduce emissions by 30 percent by 2025, 42 percent by 2030 and 83 percent by 2050.

Climate gate "controversy" aside, I have to ask, Do you conservatives really care so little for our country that you want us to continue to be addicted to foreign oil, and to energy companies in general? Do you really want us to continue to be addicted to coal, which is poisoning our streams and tearing up our wilderness areas? Why in the world people who profess to believe in independence and liberty would believe this stuff just because energy backed lobbyist and fox news tell you is beyond me. Lemmings running over the cliff. The only way to keep our standard of living and remain the greatest nation on earth is energy independence from both foreign oil and energy companies. To be honest we aren't looking far right wing paranoia about global governance and the Fed but a collusion to try and say that global warming is beyond doubt by hiding evidence of declining temperatures in the 21st century. It has to do with the fact that if they don't they will lose millions of pounds if global warming isn't proved. They will also become laughingstocks and not be able to get on TV without getting jeered at. They also won't get through a lot socialistic legislation that they want to get through. They don't want to admit, particularly to themselves, that what they have based most of their career on is based on computer built fantasy made from a very short term upgrade in temperature.
