Realizing that social security will not be there when I retire, and the profession that I am in, allows me to opt out of paying social security taxes (Not a part of that PONZI scheme). I feel for those that HAVE to pay into a system that is run by the government which is broken. (which is broken, social security or the government????) BOTH.....
What America needs is a third party of politicians who are intelligent and honest.....and throw MOST of the washiington elites OUT, without pay compensation packages...

"Joker" is too kind of a description for this guy. At least the "Joker" did not hide from his agenda, he told exactly what he wanted to do. This fraud of a president says one thing and does something else or at best...speaks from both sides of his mouth. Come to think of it, he is more like two-face than the "Joker".

Know this, former president Jimmy Carter signed into law a bill which forced banks to lower their standards allowing unqualified people to get mortgages. Bill Clinton further lowered the standards allowing even more unqualified people to obtain mortgages. Further AG Janet Reno intimidated banks with threats of legal action if they did not overlook qualifications needed for mortgages. Then came the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fiasco (pt 2 of 3)

Many seniors don't have access to the internet---just talked with my 82 year old aunt from WA tonite-----and she was bamboozled by the state run media that the protestors were turning violent.....so I read her the posts, etc. Now she wants me to send her stuff cuz she wants to confront her newspaper. Told her to confront her loud mouth congress man----the one that accused the protestors of inciting violence like McVeigh............I'm not seeing my posts either...what's up???

I am going to change the subject for a minute. A lot of retired people in this country do not have computers, so they are not well informed about a lot of the things that are going on. There is an AARP meno going around that he retired people of this country will not be getting a cost of living raise for 2010 and 2011. but some of them will be paying more for their medicare and get less. We can give GOV.Motors, AIG, ect. billions of dollars.

The arrogance of this president never ceases to amaze! I am sure he wants us to roll over and play dead. We will not shut up or move aside, our goal is to railroad this guy back to Chicago and return there as a community organizer. That is a much more suitable job for which he is best suited.

Interestingly, as Obummer is in the Commonwealth of Virginia and as he is standing in front of a flag containing the state seal, he might want to turn about and read what the state motto is. It reads "Sic Semper Tyrannis" or "Thus always to tyrants", with a rendering of an obviously victorious helmeted person standing with one foot on a supine dead antagonist. He is gravely underestimating the American people now. He probably had a good read of us last fall, but he is now way off base.

I want the greatness of this country back. I want us to lead the world in industry. I want us to lead the world in technology. I want a country that's rich in culture; in music and the arts. I want a country that shows the world the virtues of liberty, and personal responsibility. I want a country that shows its greatness through its goodness. I want to be proud of my country. This country which once showed the world what it was to be free, to be strong, and to be honorable. I want a country that values its elderly, its children, and all of its citizens. I want leadership that can be trusted. I want security, but not without freedom. I want America, the way that it was meant to be; the land of the free, and home of the brave.
In short, I want everything that this president does not. I wonder how many others, want the same thing.
