During the U.S. Presidential primaries last year, I had expressed my misgivings that Barack Obama might turn out to be another Jimmy Carter, whose confused thinking and soft image paved the way for the success of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

DaBird, I agree with you about Obama's deceit and that libs hate Bush they can't see the truth and they would have a different take on things if he would have been weak and we lost more American lives due to terrorism. I disagree as far as Clinton he wasn't as good as people thought he had a good Republican congress that put forth a lot of the ideas. Clinton also was luky enough to benefit from the dot com era. He failed miserably in the end at keeping an eye on foreign policy. Number one job of President is to keep Americans safe. I also disagree that President Obama is concerned most about being re-elected if he did he would be more of a centrist then leftist. A lot of people that voted for him won't vote for him again because they mistakenly thought he would be a centrist. This is what makes his presidency scarier. He will push as much as he can through while popular enough to do it and not care if re-elected.

Obama is definitely worse. In regards to Carter: We knew exactly who he was and where he came from; Obama, we don't know much about his past and what we do know is scary! Also, thus far in his presidency, all his decisions have been dictorial and have been disasterous for the country and will only get worse. Carter was a buffoon, but Obama is a VERY dangerous man.

The only reason they bring of the race issue, is because there is no better argument. The have nothing else to stand on. Instead of using the race card give real merits. If a black did not like Bush, did that make a black racist? Of course not! If I do not like Castro, does that make me racist? Of course not. President Obama is not perfect, so why can't there many other reasons why someone might not like him. Why are some so close minded and use the race card. Personally I see even more here. I see a man with a white mother. So, I guess he is only half Black. Maybe everyone is only half prejudice. More people are not prejudice than are. I am sure there are some, a minority of them, who are racist, but that argument goes both sides, I am sure there are Blacks that are racist and only voted for him because he is half black. But most of us black, white, yellow, tan, etc are not racist. Find a better argument then he is perfect and you must not like him because he is Black.

With the highest unemployment, inflation, taxation rates to date in history under Carter, I am confident that the current president will surpass these benchmarks. Not only are small businesses being shut down but our biggest industries are being "nationalized" or "forced" into bankruptcy while still receiving billions of our yet to be earned tax dollars.
The only things being stimulated are universal housing(freddie--another $19billion, fannie--$6.1 billion and no media coverage/Acorn protests for their $450million in bonuses) and Medicaid(universal health care) . All of which continue to cripple our economy.
And it is only May. Of the first year of a first term.
