Obama has changed the term "terrorist attack" to "man caused disaster" along with several other phrases.
As far as water boarding, certain branches of our service personnel are water boarded during their training. If they ever try these men for what was done I feel it would be an injustice. I don’t believe in torture and don’t believe water boarding, intimidation by dogs or loud music should be considered as such. If performing these deeds would get information to save even one of our military personnel I say go for it. Torture is what was done to our soldiers during the Vietnam war, WWII, and in Somalia : broken arms, beatings, being shocked with electrical cords, etc.

First. What would Al Gore, Obama, or any other democrat have done if they were in power when 911 occurred. Would someone ask a democrat? I'm curious. Second. The democrats keep talking about some of our laws are outdated and need revamped. (Gun control) Well, you democrats feel bad because a terrorist is naked in a cell and it offends his religeon? As security information people;being a disabled veteran and having a family member involved in highly sensitive national security position, if we were to release information of national security to the media, we could be trier for treason. Mr. Obama has released information (cia documents) that are extremely top secret. The water boarding is nothing compared to the torture that any American P.O.W. experienced during the history of this country.

If someone was threatening to blowup your grandkids and you had the ability to stop them but putting a caterpillar in their cell or pouring water on their face, would you do it? Or would you sit back and let them die? Because if you would go the extra mile to save your family, then you have no business criticizing Bush for trying to save America.

Bush and the Republicans tried on several occasions to regulate Freddie and Fanny, but, you guessed it, the democrats blocked it and said they were doing just fine. We now find out to the detriment of the whole country that they were in trouble.

Why doesn't Obama stick to the present and prosecute some of the members of his own cabinet - like the ones who "forgot" to pay their taxes. These Bush officials were doing their jobs and I thank them for a job well done. I felt safe under Bush. Can't say that about Obama.

The United States prosecuted war criminals after World War II for, guess what? Water boarding. Torturing of prisoners is what the Nazi's did. It's what Imperial Japan did. It's what the Soviet Union did. It's what the Vietnamese and Chinese did. And now it's what America did. Difference is we have the opportunity to show why we're different from those despotic regimes by holding accountable those who authorized the use of torture.
And, sorry Karl Rove, but using torture, and violating laws and principles that our Republic has stood on for more than 200 years, and choosing not to do so, is not a difference in "policy". It is a difference between doing what is right, and commiting war crimes.

Where is the Supreme Court on all of this. The U.S. Constitution is being trampled on and they won't even hear cases challenging BO for not providing proof of his citizenship status. I believe if we can prove he is illegal everything he has done and signed becomes null and void. I also believe that is why he is hiding the needed papers. He is probably recieving messages on his Blackberry giving him instructions from Soros and the Saudi's on what step to take next is turning over the U. S. to the World Government.

This Cap and Trade will distroy MORE companies in this country putting MORE people out of work and increasing our energy bills to a point many wont beable to pay.
