The Tea Party Lawsuit
Documents filed in a lawsuit in a Georgia court against one of the founders of the Tea Party Patriots group by her former colleagues offers some glimpses at the origins of the populist conservative movement.
The lawsuit, which I mentioned earlier, against former National Coordinator Amy Kremer, who lives in Atlanta, is seeking to force her to stop using the group's name and to turn over control and passwords to e-mail lists, websites and social networking sites.
The legal filings offer a glimpse at a group that, while sometimes cast by critics as a front for corporate-backed groups with which it works, comes across as essentially grass roots and at times chaotic.

Didn't accept money from PAC's, formed at the local level, by the community not by national political figures. And your original argument was if they were an organization how could they be grassroots? It starts at the local, citizen level if you prefer, and can evolve into an organization.
