What Was the Stimulus? Reid Tees Up 2010 'Jobs Bill'?
Senate Democrats will take up a new job-creation bill in the wake of the 10.2 percent unemployment rate, Majority Leader Harry Reid told his colleagues Tuesday.
Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) told The Hill that Reid (D-Nev.) made the announcement about a new jobs bill at the Senate Democrats’ weekly lunch.
Reid said he was looking at an initiative focused on job creation “and that our caucus will take it up,” Cardin said.

The United States used to be filled with companies that provided life long jobs to faithful workers. Today, many big global companies move from one nation to another and take their factories and jobs with them. The offer nothing to the millions on Main Street that buy their products or have to pay for them. How many temporary jobs will an Obama 'jobs bill' really create? Maybe the question to ask is how many jobs will the Obama jobs bill destroy? How high will unemployment be after this new assault on prosperity?

Where is the money from the first stimulus package? I believe it has gone to finance the shadow government that BHO has in the wings waiting to take over as soon as health care and cap and trade is passed WE NEED TO BEWARE!!!!!!!

Oh my, Gore just laid off people at his concern. Verizon is laying off people as they do away with phone booths. The Porkulas did not work. Cars did not work. And these leftist dolts want more Stimulus??? Reid decides that jobs might just get him another term. Hopefully, Nevada voters will see through this socialist naif and throw him out in 2010. NO, NO MORE STIMULUS. You've spent enough as it is. If only 1/4 of the original stimulus (give or take) has been used, use that first before spending more of our money. ARE YOU PEOPLE CRAZY? Remember, your constituents are not millionaires like many of you. And we don't get free health care, travel expense, plus all the perks you receive from our tax dollars.
