But on much of Obama’s presidency, there is a surprising bipartisan consensus on what has worked well and what has not. POLITICO spoke to a dozen political insiders and pulled together this list of Obama's ten best, and ten worst, moves of the year.

@ kansas Mom -- Oh YES! Obama LET the Navy Seals shoot the pirates. But, the thing is - Obama didn't have the final say. He only took credit when it worked out okay. He would have publically slapped our Navy if they had not done such a good job. This was just another "About Obama."
Obama will give us some excuse of the happening at Ft Hood - and if another suspect is actually nabbed, he will take personal credit for finding the guy.
