DeMint Endorses Tea Party Candidate Hoffman
Senator Jim DeMint just sent me the statement below on his support for Doug Hoffman. As one of the real leaders of the conservative movement in this country, DeMint speaks for many of us. I’m delighted he is, as he consistently does, putting principle over party in this case.

I am tired of hearing the argument about splitting the vote. The Republicans have been becoming democrats for years. I can see that has been working really well for the party. If they wanted my vote they could have it but they are not seeking my vote. Like many have said here, it's called principle. You've got to stand for something.

If you've never seen this guy, or heard him talk let me tell you,, 10 seconds and you can tell he ain't no politician. He doesn't speak all that well, nervous in front of the camera,,,, what a breath of fresh air.
We have the same thing happening in Florida with this guy Rubio. He's running against Crist (current Governor (R) who is a classic big time politician for a Senate seat.
Little by little, Crist is losing ground and funding as the word spreads about this kid Rubio.
We are winning folks!

Ms. Scozzafava is backed by the corrupt ACORN-allied Working Families Party. She supports the union's bosses card-check bill that takes away the secret ballot. She supported the 2009 $787 billion Stimulus Bill that hasn't created jobs. That bill was a payoff to the special interest groups that got Obama elected.

Card check is a decoy, if they get it...great, but the real issue in that bill is 'fast track'. That is the intended goal....it has always been.

Ms. Scozzafava was handpicked by former NY GOP Chairman Joe Mondello. Plus, Scozzafava had three friends on the 23rd District Selection Board. It was not a fair or honest selection process. If there had been a primary allowing us to vote then Scozzafava would NOT have been selected to represent the conservative 23rd District.

I'm glad to see people starting to stand on principle and not party. I have already told my Representative (a conservation Rep) that I will be sending money to help conservative candidates that believe in limited government, and responsible fiscal policy - I'll overlook social issues if needed.
