Obama's Speech to Students: What Did You Think?
The following are prepared remarks from President Obama's Back to School Event scheduled for Tuesday in Arlington, Virginia:
The President: Hello everyone - how's everybody doing today? I'm here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we've got students tuning in from all across America, kindergarten through twelfth grade. I'm glad you all could join us today.
I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school, it's your first day in a new school, so it's understandable if you're a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade you're in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer, and you could've stayed in bed just a little longer this morning.

If we had not complained about his original plan and speech it would not have been rewritten. We would have had a lot of ammunition if he had delivered the original. Alas, it is better to protect our children from this communist. I have no doubt that Obama and his shadow government will most certainly supply plenty of vile and objectionable statements and actions in the near future.

Does the criticism of President Obama's speech to students show some on the Right will attack him for anything?
The speech is over and the Obama Haters are still attacking and spinning. I have even seen somebody on here say he was wrong to tell students to study for a career because he is telling them not to do certain jobs.

The speech was not the problem the lesson plan they had originally planned to make children do after the speech was. I fact I thought the speech was quite good he actually sounded kind of conservative. Which means he was lying because he not conservative. I also did not like all the references to I, you would think Obama actually bought computers and printed books for the students. I also do not like his references to working for the country because people see the country as the government and i work for my family and myself not the government. Otherwise some of these kids could use guidance. It would be better if it came from their parents.

I do not watch the propaganda on tv...and I wouldn't want my kids to see him on tv. He is on enough, anyway. ...I don't trust him, he is only after power and politics. Lt Deputy Sheriff,injured in the line of duty. The Commander in Chief needs to be sober. He spoke of a promise he made to a lady at Greenwood S C He admitted his drink affected his memory,his aide had to remind him of his promise to see her. Factual statement,his words....and your inquiry about Ruger was a ruger 357 that was issued to me by the department, I was pinned in cruiser for 1and1/2 hour in critical condition.Call me self-righteous but more is expected from those higher in authority.I was over entire dept 3rd in command and I demanded more from my men....and my problem with social drink is telling a loved one their husband died,,,,seeing death in person..the mother dead and the whimper of the child that you can hear in the wreckage dies in route to the hospital.Murders induced by alcohol. I guess you could say I have a problem with drinking,remembering those poor souls for the rest of my life. If you wish to make an argument from this ...then there is no hope for you.
