President Barack Obama said his $787 billion stimulus bill “has worked as intended” as he pushed back against Republican criticism that his recovery program has failed to rescue the economy.

I wish he would have. I had some fact for him to read. I am a big person for freedom of speech and freedom to have your own beliefs, but when Wendy on a previous post told him about this, he flat out said she was wrong. That I don't care for. I respect his position and opinion, but not to know fact and call someone out on it, is not good.

The small businesses are suffering. Just about everyone around here depends on small business to survive. The people here would much rather work than accept handouts. People like you (and I) are the real backbone of this country. Probably a concept that the Community Organizers in charge are not familiar with.

This course NEVER worked in the past. What charlie don't do is understand our economy was never stable due to unsecured debt. Tremendous debt. No wealth. What charlie don't see is the absolute failure of BO's program. Stimulate debt with debt? Reminds me of the joke..... All projections indicate we would be well past the slump we are experiencing today (still diving) had the natural market exercises been allowed to play out. Private money not government. We can't understand why it makes sense to you otherwise.
Private money charlie. Even if it came from China it would not be government sponsored, meted or controlled. I'm sick of hearing that the American people own a car company. Bull.... My government used my money to infuse additional revenue into a debt ridden, mismanaged company that should have been allowed to go bankrupt.
