President Barack Obama said his $787 billion stimulus bill “has worked as intended” as he pushed back against Republican criticism that his recovery program has failed to rescue the economy.

I know there has to be someone out there who voted for him, but went to tea parties, or feels the way those who attended feel, got their feelings hurt when BO mocked the participants by dangling a tea bag in a condescending way. This from the pres who says he'll win those hearts from the people who didn't vote for him. No winning, just mocking and controlling.

If it was not meant to stimulate the economy, why call it Stimulus? He all but admits it was not meant for the private sector. I have not seen a dime of tax relief. Has anyone here seen any tax relief?

$15 a week. But I have to pay sin tax now, which is around $7 a week. Our grocerys have went up a lot, so we are not eating as well as we use to. When tax time comes I am sure we will end up paying more, so nope, no tax relief here.

The money also went for all the earmarks and pork the Dems haven't gotten through for years. They have no clue how we make it week to week. They don't have to worry about it.

It really has worked, but not as intended. It has stimulated a lot of people to vote this administration out of office in 2012. I know a lot of people, and can't say I know a single person supporting this administration. Many are democrats. We can start by rooting the supporters of the administration in 2010.

Traveling in from Wisconsin. There are tons of sites that are linking up with travel agencies to make the trip pretty cheap. We found one for airfare to and from, bussing to and from the protest all in one day for $350 a person!

Yep, he was touting his tax break , that ranges somewhere between 8 and 13 dollars per week for working folk , I got a kool 250 less the 75 dollars that I owed the VA . What pisses me off is the billions of dollars these momo's waste and then the take the 75 dollars from me because I was having a problem with the VA's billing. They didn't care who was right or wrong they just took it. Our goverbnebt is one big clusterf__k run by people that have no idea how the poor folk live.

mike's post reminded me once again of what God spoke to my heart in prayer during the campaign season, which was "If you lose your freedoms, they will be extremely difficult to get back." Think back on American history and how our freedoms were obtained. The road back is not going to be an easy one, but it's well worth it. We have to come together to do it. God Bless. :)
