FOX Nation Victory! Obama's Drive for Climate Change Bill Delayed!
President Barack Obama's push for quick action by Congress on climate change legislation suffered a setback on Thursday when the U.S. Senate committee leading the drive delayed work on the bill until September. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Barbara Boxer said her self-imposed deadline of early August for finishing writing a bill to combat global warming has been put off until after Congress returns from a recess that ends in early September.

Is this what we’re going to do, let this nation fall into the hands of socialists? Did our founders sacrifice for this end? Everything republicans have tried to stop over the years, common sense and progressive thinking is victorious. Remember, it was regressives that wouldn't even GIVE homosexuals ANY rights just 30 years ago and that has changed and will continue to move FORWARD. Interacial marriage was illegal in the 60s, and Conservatives and undereducated Christians wanted it to stay that way. But it changed, as those advocating for change new it inevitably would. I can go one an on (women voting?), but the fact remains, Regressives (because that's what they want really; to regress back to the 19th century) hate change and hate progress (the root of progressive). Admit it. There is nothing you'd rather see that have science dismissed and replaced by religion, and have heterosexual white males as the dominant power group.

This was about climate bill---- but on health care , ask any DR. what his/her biggest single expense is and he/she will tell you Insurance--- tort reform would lower all medical costs by 10-15%

Action on climate change is inevitable and eminent; the science is robust, the action plans well known, and more importantly the need is real. Countries like Brazil, India and China will follow suit if countries like America, Canada, France and Australia lead. And what is up with this site, for an entire day I couldn’t post and now the while typing in the remarks space, everything is slowing down, and I’m on a 64 bit, 4 gig of ram laptop and high-speed internet access. Hyper inflation followed by wage/price controls, government control of finance. When foreign energy prices climb, the oil companies lose money doe to the price controls. Government takes over these companies, forcing them into submission, like the banks and auto companies. More money poured into unproductive “green energy” that can’t meet our needs. Now government controls most important segments of the economy, a la Soviet style economic planning. Is that what you want? You’re about to get it.

Greg what are you on about? This is a global problem, with world scientists and world leaders, it's not a conspiracy again a few conservatives in Texas. Please inform yourself. BTW, the same lame, canards were trotted out when CFCs were phased out under the Montreal protocol, lead taken from gasoline, and when Tobacco was regulated. The same stories about how economies would crumble, and how progressives were driving us into the stone age. yes, climate change is inevitable, but not 'man-made' climate change. The climate on this ol earth changes continuously. The only difference is now we have some of the most arrogant sob's ever lived trying to sell us snake oil to 'correct' the course of climate change. Tell you what friend, YOU regulate the sun, our orbit, our axis, the volcanoes and nature .... and then our climate MIGHT stay somewhat stable, but probably not even then. By the way, America has lead any number of noble causes, Brazil, India, China, France, Germany .... any of them follow our lead then? Or just when they needed some thug's butt kicked? pffft
