FOX Nation Victory! Obama's Drive for Climate Change Bill Delayed!
President Barack Obama's push for quick action by Congress on climate change legislation suffered a setback on Thursday when the U.S. Senate committee leading the drive delayed work on the bill until September. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairman Barbara Boxer said her self-imposed deadline of early August for finishing writing a bill to combat global warming has been put off until after Congress returns from a recess that ends in early September.

Cap and trade is nothing more than an attack on the American way of life. It attacks our freedom our liberty , and the prosperity that is the envy of the world. However there are elements in our own society that feel it isn't fair that we as a people have so much and the rest of the world does not. I'm sorry that life isn't fair, but we as a people by the sweat of our brow, and the blood of our brave soldiers past and present have preserved for us this great nation. Now we find ourselves being governed not by dedicated American citizens, but by self proclaimed citizens of the world,and it disgusts me. They plan to take from us what we have toiled, fought and died for,and give it to the rest of the world so they can satisfy some inner self loathing they have for the greatness of America. Big trouble? No, this is the closest we've been to seeing real action on climate change. remember, Bush was the only pariah in the world that refused to ratify Kyoto. Compare that with today, where we're about to push through real legislation and with real targets achievable targets. It's so refreshing to have an administration that relies on science and not deities to govern.

I have written to all my state senators, and representatives as well about this subject and also several other subjects - some of the responses took me several days to calm down from. However, I hope that all these people who work for the entirity of the US population get a grip. The carbon output from DC is pretty high - of course - they never pay the bill. We do.

We definitely need an energy bill, but this is not it. Folks, there is no magic pixie dust that will get us off carbon based fuels. Sure we can reduce CO2 some by expanding nuclear, wind turbine, and solar. That can be used to produce electricity, but what about transportation? Yes we can reduce CO2 by going to smaller more efficient cars, but any increase will be consuned by our ever increasing population and failure to regulate immigration. What we need is a comprehensive energy policy, not some clap-trap climate change legislation that has no chance of accomplishing it's objectives and will only result in increased taxes and lost jobs.

Find out who your Representatives are and send them an email or make a call telling them to vote yes for House Resolution 615 which is proposed to require all Representatives who vote for the health care bill to be required to use it as their own heath care like the rest of the populus. WHAT"S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER!!!
