Obama Busted Stacking Town Hall... What If Bush Had?
President Barack Obama wanted to put a human face on his plans to overhaul health care, and a Virginia supporter did just that Wednesday. Fighting back tears, Debby Smith, 53, told Obama of her kidney cancer and her inability to obtain health insurance or hold a job. The president hugged her -- she's a volunteer for his political operation -- and called her "exhibit A" in an unsustainable system that is too expensive and complex for millions of Americans.

I loved his speech he says don't look back, but yet history repeats itself because we never learn from our lessons. Again he shows naivety, just saying, "from the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, (there was a reason this song is sung still today) we will fight our country's battles, on the land as on the sea", that was when in the bast looking behind the real slavery issue had started for us. Did he happen to address the missing soldier kidnapped by the Taliban who will could end up be-headed because under his determination and decisive measure a little water boarding is just to much, so we have no means to get the brutal Taliban to talk, to tell the Mothers son, we may be able to locate him if. How about someone like John Edwards who as a Lawyer made MILLIONS sueing doctors saying they caused cerebal polzy by not rpoforming a C section and therfore the baby didn't have enough oxegen and this cause cerebal polzy.. All of this was proved false !!! So why haven't the insurance/ hospital and Doctors sued John Edwards for the money back ??
Why hasn't the insurace company tried to get its money back ??? I pay all of my medical bills out of pocket and the reason I pay so much is due to lawyers like Edwards.. Fraud is fraud is fraud... I use Edwards as I know everyone knows him...

Actually, in the first place, sadly, you can't go back after the judgement just because the bozo lied. Once the judgement has been entered you're pretty much screwed. Now If the defendant could sue the prosecuting attourney for malpractice that would even things out in the property direction. It becomes a win-win the plaintiff gets their blood money and the defendant is able to recover from the plaintiff's attourney for his malpractice. That would make lawyers a bit more careful about what they pull in the court room.

A simple google search for "bush town hall meetings screening" gave 172,000 results. Honestly, these topics can only be intended to mislead and raise the ire of the typical Fox Nation patron. Bush did far worse than to ensure there was an example, or representation of, the current health care crisis that this nation faces today. From pre-screening the ENTIRE audience to actually canceling town hall meetings when they could not pre-screen and script their attendees, the bush administration engaged in nothing less than propaganda. I guess Fox does not think that their followers have a good memory or perhaps they believe that it is a selective one. Which by some of the responses here I guess they are right. I acknowledge that the problem is not just one party and extends to all politicians and parties. I was not a fan of the stimulus bill toward the end of the Bush era either. Considering that the majority of the population takes the governments word there should be a balanced and accurate debate. People need to have a good picture of the cost and impact of government actions and bills regardless of party. Who will benefit, what is the economic impact, long-term objectives and risk, how and who will pay for it, and finally impact on individual liberties and right to choose. The press does not really help with this either. One is right the other left.

As a Health Care Professional, I can tell you that MANY Malpractice Suits are BOGUS!! NOBODY is suggesting the REAL ones not be pursued!! Doctors DO make mistakes and should be held accountable!! Many patients, however, are not HONEST with their Doctors and/or are just scamming the system. Trial Lawyers are as well. They make A LOT OF $$$$ off of these Malpractice Suits!!
