Pelosi Requires All Homes to Meet Eco-Standards Before They Can Be Sold
The 1,400-page cap-and-trade legislation pushed through by House Democrats contains a new federal policy that residential, commercial, and government buildings be retrofitted to increase energy efficiency, leaving it up to the states to figure out exactly how to do that. This means that homeowners, for example, could be required to retrofit their homes to meet federal “green” guidelines in order to sell their homes, if the cap-and-trade bill becomes law.

Read the Bill. It took a while to read the entire bill and it is VERY scary. I keep thinking I am in a nightmare. You need to read the bill. We all need to wake up and become active and vote out the Senators and Representatives -regardless if they are Dems or Repubs- that have supported these bills (or should I say PROGRAMMES) before we lose all our freedoms.

Did you happen to read anything regarding a penalty for using wood as a heating source or something to that effect? I thought I heard Stephen Moore on Cavuto's show this afternoon mention that to Stuart. I tried reading the bill but I couldn't stop the blood from shooting out of my eyes long enough to find the section that might contain that.

I read all of Section 202 and I do not find any requirement that homes be retrofitted or inspected prior to sale. I do not find any requirement for ANYTHING to be retrofitted or inspected, for that matter. The section is all about facilitating retrofits, not requiring them. It provides funds for state and local programs for things like training and incentives. If you can find any language that requires any retrofitting, I'd be very interested to hear it, because I can't find any.

.Yes, it is true. Pelosi is an idiot. However, I would like to caution everyone. Please do not expend all of your energies and attention on this one issue. This is the most deceptive administration I have seen in my 59 years. Since the majority of all decisions coming out of the House of Reps and the White House defy all common sense, there must be something else going on that we, the public, are not yet aware of. They obviously want to keep us occupied concentrating on this issue so they can implement some other devastatingly devious plan they do not want us to know about until it is too late. What is it? God only knows, but keep your eyes and ears open for something happening behind the scene. These people cannot be trusted, even a little. There is a very devious agenda afoot.
