Outspoken Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann says she's so worried that information from next year's national census will be abused that she will not fill out anything more than the number of people in her household.
Does anyone know if you can household pets on the census? I would so love to include my pet boxer, 12 gold fish, 3 hamsters and the turtle my kids found last week in the back yard ..

Well this should be easy for Acorn all we need to do is watch the grave yards for people writing down names from head stones. You see since the Census is not released to the general population for viewing for 70 years no one will know many of the people listed were dead to begin with.
FYI on the last Census I listed my race as a member of the human race they sent a person to my door to check out what race I was.

But they may still need the grave yards in California in order to save the State from loosing seats in the House. I understand the people are leaving there and some northern states in droves. After all one needs to be sure they stack the deck properly.

It appears from the comments that are here as of right now that not a single one of you bothered to read the article. ACORN IS NOT TAKING THE CENSUS. It is just one of MANY organizations that have been contracted to help recruit census workers. Those people will be screened, hired, and trained by the US Census Bureau. Refusing to answer census workers is illegal, and lying to them is just stupid.

And--don't believe this cr** about "training" by the US Census Bureau either, since that agency is under the direct control of the WH & the Pres'd buddy Rahm Emmanuel--who knows all of the tricks! Ever heard of short-cuts and over-counts? Better station guards at cemeteries when their census folks go out and count because they'll "count" every headstone!

No. ACORN is not training any census workers. The Census Bureau does that. ACORN is simly helping to FIND census worker applicants in certain areas. So are a lot of other companies and organizations. ACORN is just one of many doing this, and only in certain localities.

You do NOT have to answer any question except #1 "How many people reside in household" per article 1 section 2 in the constitution. The gov needs to enumerate the citizens "to count or determine the number of" USC 221 requires you to answer the census or get a $100 fine if you answer falsely it is a $500 fine NOT $5000! I have created 2 websites regarding the census they are censusrights.com/net they will be up by next week.

ACORN is not doing any "census taking", and they are being investigated for voter registration fraud, not voter fraud. Those are two VERY different things. There are no allegations of any significant voting fraud in the last election.

Yes, Maine, significant. There are always, in every election, some small numbers of illegal votes. I'm asking for evidence of investigations into organized illegal voting in any sort of volume that could even conceivably affect an election. Not three guys from New York who voted in Ohio.
