Congress is ultimately responsible because they are the ones that certify the vote of the Electoral College. That's why they are supposed to call for objections in Congress during the certification process.

It is my understanding that it is the responsibility of the DNC and RNC to verify eligibility. We have never had a presidential candidate before who has been so evasive about his birth certificate.

Thisisn't just the birth certificate. In the category of things we don't know about Barry - there is also anything he ever wrote at HArvard Law while he was President of the Law Review; grades, passport, Selective Service, etc.... the larger issue here is that he is not a natural born citizen of his own admission. His supposed father was a British subject at his birth making him ineligible. What makes this most egregious is the fact that nobody cares. I think the Kerchner case may actually go to the point of finding out the facts... all other cases were stopped before the facts were known. Wake Up America!

I've been following this story at WND for several months, have signed the petition posted at that site, have written letters to my legislators (California, and thus admittedly rather pointless), and repeatedly raised the issue among family and friends - all to little or no avail. I am gratified to find it being given some play at Fox News (at long last) despite the dismissive attitude of some commentators.

Calling all Hawaiian born Military memeber past and present...Please let us know what was required to enter into the Military. Did anyone get accepted with a "CERTIFICATION of live birth" or were you required to provide your "CERTIFICATE of live birth"? Oh BTW you don't have to be a natural born citizen to be in the Military and my guess is that the CERTIFICATION was not acceptable.

Also tell your Congressmen to sign onto and support H.R. 1503 which will amend the Federal Election Campaign Act to require that all candidates meet the qualifications for eligibility to the Office of President under the Constitution, including the 2012 election.

We NEED to see a certified copy of his birth certificate. The copy on the internet is not the official copy - it is only a shortcut - As long as he does not come clean about this, he really cannot be our President.

Fran, the copy posted on the internet IS the official certified copy issued by the state of Hawaii. It is valid in any court to prove he was born in Honolulu. Try again, My friend.

Dutch Schultz...Do a little research and you will see that he did not have to be born in Hi. His mother could have just said he was. While it might be an "official copy" of a CERTIFICATION of live birth saying officailly he was born alive it is not a CERTIFICATE of live birth.
