Sarah Palin Criticizes Notre Dame

Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, a strong pro-life advocate, weighed in on the issue with me by e-mail: “My favorite grandpa, Clem James Sheeran, was Catholic. Irish to the core, his favorite place (other than church) was Notre Dame. I can’t imagine what he would think as the university recognizes someone who contradicts the core values of the Catholic faith by promoting an anti-life agenda.

Darn Right.....PALIN is the real deal!!
Is the American Culture infested with apathy & tolerance?
Perhaps a SILENT voice will appear.
POTUS seized the moment to deliver an excellent speech. Was it rhetorically received? You betcha!!!
Is Michael Steel, SPOT on, "actions do speak louder than words" ?
Leaders RARELY waiver from their belief or conviction, do they?
The stage was perfect to paint the picture.
Catholics & others RARELY waiver from their conservative values, do they?

Any politician who takes over a state, that in good times was plagued with high taxes and budget shortfalls, negotiates with big oil 7 billion in savings for bad times such as right now, eliminates state income tax, property tax, state sales tax, reimburses every man women and child in her state up to 2500 each year, makes her state the lowest taxes in all America, negotiates the largest infrastructure pipeline project in American history, negotiates a no strings attatched approach to the stimulus funds meanning when the funds end ,so do the programs,to stop her from in the future having to raise taxes, prepays her states entire education budget 2 years in advance, stands tall against abortion, also stands up for mrs Ca,theres so much more, yet these beltway pundits and the msm say she is stupid,it is clear to me who the stupid people are, it is not Palin her family her supporters,or the majourity of Alaskans.

Darn right this country is ready for a Woman President. Sarah wouldn't only be a woman President she would be one of the only Presidents that would represent the true USA, like it was founded. It would be fantastic to have someone in there that would represent the people not the government. She's not a power hungry bi tch like Pelosi. But then again I love the people that say Hilliary would be great, they haven't watched "The Clinton Chronicles" yet. go to youtube and see her. Then tell me you would rather have her over Sarah. Go Sarah and Newt in 2012

I could, but still wouldn't want her or Newt running the country. How quickly those driven by party, forget the details of their past. Why is it that the posts online have such angry polar statements? Is it important to simply have someone in office with the tag of the other party? Did our country fare so well in the last eight years with that party? A man who has been in office for just over 4 months is being held accountable for situations that have been brewing for years. If fixing our current economic situation is as simplistic as reported to be, why didn't the seasoned politicians from the previous party in power not do so before departing? As americans we are so blessed, but instead of appreciating the freedoms we enjoy, we spent so much time complaining! As with every season, time will heal our present situation. Let's enjoy our lives and let others live theirs as they wish. Diversity is the foundation upon which America was created, but we need to work together!

Palin and Limbaugh and Cheney. Put the three of them together and you have the perfect presidency. Strong moral leadership and the guts to deliver. We need to change the constitution and allow two vice presidents. That would restore America to being great again. That would be an awesome threesome in power.

GOP GOING DOWN WRONG ROAD

Another leading Republican strategist has voiced concerns about the direction of the GOP.
John Weaver, a top adviser to Utah Governor John Huntsman, said this week that the Republican party is headed for an electoral "blowout" if it continues to be defined by "Palin and Limbaugh and Cheney."
The Washington Examiner reported:
"If it's 2012 and our party is defined by Palin and Limbaugh and Cheney, then we're headed for a blowout," says strategist John Weaver, who advised Huntsman and was for years a close adviser to Sen. John McCain. "That's just the truth."
Until last week, Weaver was preparing for Utah Gov. John Huntsman's possible presidential run. Huntsman, who just accepted President Obama's invitation to become Ambassador to China, is a favorite of GOP moderates.
Weaver's comment is the latest in a series of calls from within the GOP for a more moderate tone. Last week, moreover, a National Journal poll of top GOP political insiders and strategists found last week that Republicans believe former Vice President Dick Cheney has hurt the party since leaving office.
Despite such warnings, top Republican leaders have continued to endorse the idea that Limbaugh and Cheney should represent the party.
John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, the House and Senate minority leaders, both expressed support for Cheney's attacks on President Obama during Sunday show appearances this weekend.
"It doesn't hurt us, it helps us," Boehner told CNN's "State of the Union." Boehner also said Cheney is a "big member in our party."

You are absolutely correct, Republicans have been going down the wrong road. They have to start acting like Republicans instead of Democrats. We tried it your way with McCain, couldn't ask for a more moderate Republican. Republican Congress acted like Dems and they lost to the real thing. We need to wise up and listen to Rush and Cheney.

They sit there and ring their hands and do nothing as the Schools Admin. does this to the Catholic families that entrust it to educate our children. I feel as almost sick as I did when it was quiet about the Churches Pedophile scandal. I feel not only have I lost faith in my country but also my religion, but never you my Lord !!! Floyd: I pray your wife is never raped (I wouldn't wish it on anyone). But you DO NOT punish the child. The child is innocent in all this. You should either rise above and have enough love in your heart to raise that child or bless a couple who wants desperately to adopt. There are many couples out there in that situation. Abortion is just returning evil with evil and no good comes from that. Bottom line - the child is INNOCENT and should NOT have to pay with its life!!!
