It very difficult to comprehend the vast ignorance within the USA. Thomas Jefferson left us 2 great quotes. He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it. That the new AMERICA must have a Revolt or Revolution every two hundred years or so to remain free and restructure from bad govern ment decisions. Welfare and mass social aid is socialism as is big government. These are not my thoughts but historical fact. Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein and most all Dems with a few Reps believe in heavy taxation. I suggest all left wingers take a long hard look at California, CT, NY and many other states failing under the leftist tax them hard plan.

Stop abusing each other. THINK, its not about democrat or republican, its about a corrupt government keeping you at odds with one an other so you don't see the real agenda of a play for power. As long as you don't get in there way you don't countTime is runningout, WAKE UP!

Don't kid yourself. It is sponsored by the Republican Governors's Association, and many of the leaders happen to be long standing members of the GOP (Gingritch, anyone?) As usual, Fox, has been shamelessly unfair and partisan, pushing yet another 'loaded' event by giving people information to contact the organizers. At the very least, be honest about it! My questions is: Are Republicans doing this because they have no real ideas at this point in time, and notpower.? A kind of pouting from the sidelines. (OF course, to make it a little effective, you have to imagine that 'the people' are really behind this, that our minority group of disgruntled righties reflect the heart of the USA, despite what polls and elections say. Sad.)

laughing at ignorance

It's clear that there are many on here that love the book "rules for radicals". The tea parties must really be making progress! Attack, discredit, call names,
Cuz it's clear, the lib's just can't comprehend that regular american people are just fed up with the fat cats in washington! They just can't comprehend that! They just can't see that there are so many americans that have a mind of there own, that no right from wrong and have a backbone to fight fo get America back ! That's ok tea bashers, you can live in your ignorance and keep making uneducated nasty comments. But remember, when we succeed and help make this better nation, that you will also benefit from.....you don't get any credit...all your left with is your nastiness!

Link Justice. 2nd page Story 'Attacking the Homeless to become a Hate Crime.' Comment Verns. READ IT...... Vern likes to fire rocksalt at homeless vets and asks if thats a hate crime. Either Fox have closed further ads on that link or nobody cares. He says "I know that a lot of the homeless are war veterans, but I don't want them in my community. I only care about veterans when they can still fight. What good is a homeless, mentally unstable war vet urinating in your alley. I shoot them with rock salt, I hope that ain't "hate crime". I'll use the words of the Soldiers poet Rudyard Kipling to reply.
'Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap;
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.'

Statement 1. Some of you who have seen these posts that I'm putting up here, and just walked by without comment, thank you those who bothered to reply, may wonder how much longer I am going to keep this up for. Well I don't know, maybe mine is the only heart that is broken because someone could write that while we are at war in two places, and soon, perhaps, in others.
If you have a problem with a homeless vet in your community, ring your local police, ask them if they have a fellow veteran on their force who can come out and move his brother ex-soldier along. But do it gently sir, do it gently. Oh and Vern if your just a person who puts comments on here to see what reaction he can get, your mistake was putting it on a link about the homeless

Oliver Wendell Holmes jnr:... to keep the soldier's faith against the doubts of civil life, more besetting and harder to overcome than all the misgivings of the battlefield, and to remember that duty is not to be proved in the evil day, but then to be obeyed unquestioning; to love glory more than the temptations of wallowing ease, but to know that one's final judge and only rival is oneself: with all our failures in act and thought, these things we learned from noble enemies in Virginia or Georgia or on the Mississippi, thirty years ago; these things we believe to be true.
"Life is not lost", said she,
"for which is bought Endless renown."
We learned also, and we still believe, that love of country is not yet an idle name

Oliver Wendell Holmes jnr: "But, nevertheless, the generation that carried on the war has been set apart by its experience. Through our great good fortune, in our youth our hearts were touched with fire. It was given to us to learn at the outset that life is a profound and passionate thing. While we are permitted to scorn nothing but indifference, and do not pretend to undervalue the worldly rewards of ambition, we have seen with our own eyes, beyond and above the gold fields, the snowy heights of honor, and it is for us to bear the report to those who come after us. But, above all, we have learned that whether a man accepts from Fortune her spade, and will look downward and dig, or from Aspiration her axe and cord, and will scale the ice, the one and only success which it is his to command is to bring to his work a mighty heart." What Vern needs to remember is that sometimes that fire mentioned at the beginning burns a man till there is almost nothing

Anyone who might be wondering how much longer is John going to keep this up for. Well I was going to quit but, ..."the one and only success which it is his to command is to bring to his work a mighty heart." So once a day on this site I'm going to leap out on people with the inconvenient fact that not all the casualties of war lie at Arlington with what little Endless renown this cynical age lets them kept, or are in VA hospitals. Some of them live rough on your streets. If you can, for a moment, just think what they might have done for you. You don't have to take them into your homes, you don't have to go join a charitable organisation that maybe helps to get them at least one proper meal a day. But whatever they are reduced too recall that it might be because once they learned and believed 'that love of country is not yet an idle name'

I think this is a good idea. I'm not sure I appreciate them using the "tea party" label for their efforts, though. I understand they are after the same things "we" are so I support this.

Let's see: The tea party is sponsored by the GOP and Greta accommodates--"How do people find out about this. Is there a phone number, an address?" . Wonder if she would say the same, and with the same bubbly tone of voice, if it were an anti-globalization protester led by left democrats.

STOP w/ the baseless inuendos and bullshit. Perhaps if one would participate in a grassroots effort, then the perspective or reflection would offer a much different objection and/or comment. Ever LOOK in the mirror, doubt it, what do you think???

No Bushie Boy fan but Obama without the congress urged bail-out inherited around 450 billion in debt. His earmarks alone are a couple of billion short of that figure. Dems ran on a 1.2 tril deficit premise that was bad for AMERICA. Then without transparency or viewing a bill already prepared along with other bailouts. Our deficit is nearing 5 TRILLION DOLLARS. Wake up AMERICA this is all of our problem and we need unification to fight all politicians not the dems alone as we take our country back. Around 560 officials in WASHINGTON are now DICTATORS and no longer are public SERVANTS!!!!!
