As has been stated repeated by others he is ONLY a great reader without his printed speech he has difficulty with a sentence or thought.

Almost all speeches done by politicians are written for them by their paid professional speech writers. Teleprompters are more convenient than note cards now, especially when everything is televised. They allow him to continue looking forward during the speech. Bush used them, as well as many other prominent republicans. The only real difference is that Obama referenced it to save the face of one of his peers.

We knew it wouldn't be long before the world got sick of Obama. He does tend to "bloviate" (thanks, O'Reilly, for the word). Obama's honeymoon is OVER, on both sides of the Atlantic.

Boring? Let me put it this way. Here's how I feel when BO come on TV to give another speech, ESPECIALLY when he's without his teleprompter:
If I were handcuffed to my couch and the remote was out of reach, I'd gnaw off my own arm just to be able to change the channel.

[chuckle] seems the Brits now subjected to hearing the presidents entire speech..over and over..instead of a few sound bites, are seeing what many of us here did..though too few before the election..pretty long winded speeches don't make for a good leader....

He's in Turkey now. Maybe he can figure out a way to shorten his speeches by going to South Africa, India, New Zealand, Syria, Greenland, the Artic; I think you get the picture.
