What strikes me about politics over the last couple of years is how obvious it all has been. In 2008, as the junior senator from Illinois campaigned across the country demonstrating his gifts as a motivational speaker and community organizer, all one had to do was review his recent life to know that he was about to bring down on the country -- ever so incompetently -- the most left-wing government in American history. And so he has -- with the utmost incompetence. Think of the paucity of swine flu vaccine, in large part the consequence of his government's meddling with production.
As I say, it was all so obvious. No president in modern times has come to power with less political experience and less managerial experience. On the other hand, no president has come to power with a clearer record of political extremism. Senator Barack Obama had the most left-wing voting record in the Senate, brief as his record was. Back in Illinois he had a record of associations with extremists that would have sunk any other presidential candidate. Think of his friendship with Bill Ayers, a co-founder of the Weather Underground that actually bombed public buildings in the 1960s. Think of Obama's attendance week after week at religious services where the Rev. Jeremiah Wright thundered forth with diatribes lilting with such lines as "God damn America." The radical direction of the Obama presidency was foreordained.

Wow, what a statement. Foxnation is so out of ideas it's returning to campaign slogans. You'd be happy if he was incompetent, because that would mean he couldn't pass anything, and pass things he has. He's already put more troops in Afghanistan than Bush, with more on the way. He's pulled the country back from the worst recession in modern times (although the Tarp plan was Bush's). He's provided more care to kids, pushed the healthcare plan through the House, set a date to end Guantanamo, denounced torture, and revolutionised our foreign policy stance. No wonder you hate him so. But to got back to tired campaign slogans, that's just pathetic.

Duh, we know this already. The one's who don't get it are most of the MSM, left leaning liberals, and people who want a free lunch. All politicians lie and bend the truth to get elected, that's the nature of the beast, the problem with Obama is that he believes his lies and that everything is about him and only him. Case in point, does it benefit him to go to Germany for the Berlin Wall ceremony, no, it does not benefit him, so he sends Hillary. Does he go to Ft Hood to offer reassurance and comfort to the troops there, no, it does not benefit him so he stays in DC. Constrast that to the Copenhagen trip for the Olympics, does it benefit him, yes, because he has some debts to repay in Chicago, he gets on AF One to pitch for Chicago. Too bad Chicago came in last in the balloting. Ah well, I guess that trip was not a benefit at all.

I consider myself a "conservative" but I am also a realist. I do not see 'tax cuts' as a means to jump start the economy. I owned my own company and was an entrepreneur and made money and took care of my employees. However, foreign imports drove me out of business. Before I could ever sign on to 'tax cuts' as a job creatory I would need to know what the product was, what the jobs were, and what they paid. Like a commercial banker I would want to see the business plan, the customer base, and a projected profit statement. If there are so many great ideas and products out there why are we not hearing about them. Oh, I know because they don't want someone to steal their idea to making a new improved widget! Theory is fantastic reality is show me the facts! You know what no one individual has said anything other than generalities for the last 14 months. Why, because they have not the foggiest idea! Face the reality and the facts, WE ARE SCREWED! I know it and the powers in the public and private sector know it. Sadly Government is too big to fail, why because without government jobs blood would be runnning in the streets, sewers, and the water supply!
