NOW President Unloads on Obama
Terry O’Neill, the president of the National Organization of Women, was not happy to hear President Obama’s response when ABC News asked him about an amendment added to the House Democrats’ health care bill Saturday night that further restricts abortion services in both public and private insurance plans.
“He has passed health care for half the population and an anti-abortion bill for the rest of us,” O’Neill said.
She said she understood the president’s frustration in wanting to pass health care reform, but “it is not acceptable for him to achieve that goal by pushing women back into the back alleys to die.” And the anti-abortion amendment added to the health care reform legislation “does just that.”

Elective abortions do not constitute a genuine health care issue. If a woman CHOOSES to undergo an ELECTIVE abortion, SHE should pay for it. Not funding elective abortions with federal (tax payer dollars) money does NOT have anything to do with reversing women's "rights."

If you want to have sex, your responsible for everything that happens after, from preagnacy to birth to raising your child tell they on on their own. Your also responsible for your own problems, from STD'd, abortions, adoptions, or what ever else.

The press always portrays the National Organization of Women as an organization representative of all women. It is not. They didn't say you couldnt get birth control pills under this healthcare , how rediculous that some seem to think abortion is birth control. Do liberals not see the problem here, a fetus is only a fetus when the idiot woman who had unprotected sex doesnt want to have a baby, if its a wanted child then its a baby from conception. This is 2009, birth control pills have been available for what 40+ yrs, wake up stupid women, take the pill and you wont have to worry about this healthcare covering your abortions, teach your daughters about prevention and get them on the pill, if they are dating odds are they are having sex.
