Latest Media Attack on Palin: She Flew on Jet
It was billed as a bus tour, but Sarah Palin's travels across the country to promote her new book have included several flights on an expensive private jet, her publisher told ABC News.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor, who sold off a private jet belonging to the state calling it "over the top," has been getting around the United States to promote her book aboard a Gulfstream 2 private jet -- at a cost of $4,000 per hour.
It's not unusual for politicians to regularly take planes on tours and then board a campaign bus to arrive at a stop, but in an era in which private jets carry a special sort of stigma, Palin may be vulnerable to criticism.

Obama did not talk strategy. You're correct. I should've been clearer in what I was saying on my earlier post. After the first sentence I meant to put in that Fox News had military strategists and pundits on talking about strategy. I haven't served in the military. If I were the enemy, I would be planning based on what I hear the strategists talking about. Playing football, you don't tell the other team what play you're going to run. That's just me. I watched part of the speech also. There was no military strategy being televised. What President Obama presented were GOALS, not strategy.

The number of additional troops = not a strategy
When he hopes to have the troops home = goal
What the troops will be used for = not enough to be strategy
If you can point to anything specific in the speech that you consider strategy, please do so.

I didn't say she was making it up, but just because she says something doesn't make it true. She may know HOW to tell the truth but she doesn't always. In addition to her many half-truths and lies before the book, there is already a list of inaccuracies and probable lies IN the book.

She is a Private Citizen - on a schedule set up for her by the publishers - if your employer was setting your schedule you would be doing the same - following the schedule. She may well disagree with the flights but it is between her and the publisher to work that out. None of anyone else’s business.
Of course the State Sanctioned Media will make more out of that than the unnecessary trip to West Point to make a speech that Obama made today. They will also ignore the cost of his many truly non-essential trips and parties in favor of attacking Ms. Palin. The reason? He thinks he’s a ock star and the SSM is absolutely frightened of Ms. Palin’s political potential.

Just watched BHO act like he's talking to West Point cadets through his teleprompter. Tell me something. Why in the heck is the US televising our military strategy? Why are we telling the enemy where we are focusing our efforts and how we're going to do it? I believe in transparency, but not when the lives of our military are compromised by forecasting the strategy to the enemy.
