It was so much more civil than I would have expected, Moore has lightened up since the last time I saw one of his interviews, and the discussion was overall an intelligent and thought-provoking one. Moore defended himself fairly well for someone who doesn't really know what capitalism is

Hannity held Moore's feet to the fire. He refuses to live the modest lifestyle which he advocates for everyone, but himself. He probably thinks of the freedom-slandering movies that he makes as a donation to the world, because they promote his ideal of a communist dictator perpetuo.

WV: That has not been my experience with right-leaning folks. They believe what they believe, even if what they "think" they know -- they don't. They profess to be the best Christians and the ONLY true patriots/Americans in this country. They appear to love war and war-posturing and think intimidation wins friends and allys.
The left believes in equal rights, women's rights, equal pay and trying to help the less fortunate. By contrast, the right think everyone should just "pull themselves up by their bootstraps, even if they don't have a pot to poop in.
We embrace diversity. The right does not. They operate on the basis of "fear." Fear of Muslims, fear of God, fear of Homosexuals, fear of illegals, fear of taxes, fear of loss of status, fear of communism, socialism and marxism (even though 10%, if that, even know what that means). I am blown away when I read these "discussions" at how people can be so misguided, uninformed, and downright MEAN.
People on the left do not believe everything is acceptable. They do, however, believe that other people should not be telling them how to think, what to believe and how to feel. As much as you want US to limit government, we want YOU to limit your need for everyone to believe just as you do -- and that includes religion. Live and let live. The conservative does not profess to know everything. But we do know somethings and we have a right to speak our opinion when we disagree with the left. We have have standards (principles) for which we firmly stand. It seems liberals do not take a stand for much (for various reasons) and therefore anything is acceptable. Moore and his type are a cancer to America because he/they contradicts so much for which we stand. What they espouse violates too much for what we know to be right. There is a right and there is a wrong and if we have as much right to speak as you liberals.

Jesus was not a capitalist. He was a teacher, preacher, healer and had a trade - carpenter. Jesus making money just never came up in the bible. Many people say they go to church, but don't really, so that they look good to others. Hannity wants others to know he is a good Catholic and attends church regularly. Not remembering what the priests sermon was lets us know that he was not there to listen. You are not graded for attendance by God as far as I know.
