it sure was a sad, confusing day, but not exactly a suprise as there were those who were screaming about the potential for an attack including the head of the FBI who was run out of office by the Clintion admin the year before and was actually the chief of security at the World Trade Center towers. He died in the attack!
I was traveling and in Milwaukee that morning getting ready to fly out when G H Bush on his way to Mn , was forced to land at the Milwaukee airport.!
------------ It now strikes me as odd that if GW had known anything was going to happen he most likely would of dropped a note to his dad to stay out of the air that day.

Vetgal - Couldn't agree more. A lot of history is being rewritten in the books used in todays classrooms. A big reason why parents are in arms over the president speaking to our children/grandchildren through the classroom setting.

As a disabled veteran, neither I nor my children need to be taught about service to our country. My daughter was 5 on that horrible day, we heva always spent it together, because I remember how sick I was at the idea of never seeing my child again. I am taping the timeline and will be watching it with her. It will be the first time I have shared all of the events of that day with her, but how can she understand why I and so many Americans feel the way we do, unless I show her. I want to teach her, before they try to revise it for classroom learning.

This day/event will always be etched in my mind. I am still in awe of the bravery and sacrifices that were made that day. These are the lessons that I want my children, and my childrens children to take away from 9/11. We always want to remember the triumphant of the bravery of the innocent; over the evil acts of those committed to the taking of their lives. The events of 9/11 are never very far from my thoughts; as I see a plane in flight, drive to visit family going past a field in Pennsylvania, see our military/police/firefighters in action or on the news. Memories have no timetable as to when they are triggered. This will just be a refresher to put faces to all of the acts of bravery and to those that lost their lives. Thank you Fox!

As we remember September 11th,I wish the media would put some light back on the waterboarding issue and Attorney General,Eric Holder.Mr.Holder is the top law enforcement official for the United States.I question if he is truely for the United States.My case in point is the group known as the Boricua Popular Army. Labeled by the FBI as being Terrorists,they held up a Wells Fargo in CT.16 of it's members faced criminal charges.In 1996 a request for clemency was issued and turned down by then US Pardons Attorney Margret Love. In1997,Holder became Deputy Attorney General and was asked by three members of congress to review and request clemency;later President Clinton granted the reduction in sentences against the wishes of the FBI, disregarding the federal prosecutors and the victicms. Furthermore clemency was granted tho none of the members gave information on the whereabouts of it'sleader,Mr. Victor Manuel Gerena who was on the FBI's top 10 most wanted,nor was any money returned.
Holder favors closing Gitmo,opposes the Patriot Act, doesn't like the enhanced interrogation techniques or the NSA warrentless surveillence program. What does he favor? The 2nd grade mentality of giving candy to the bully doesn't make him your friend.

Anyone who truly believes this event was contrived by the government must have a horrible view on life. I feel sorry for them as they apparently are totaly ignorant of the facts and ignorant of world cultures. I was waiting to fly out of Milwaukee on the mornin of 9-11-01 when Pres Bush's dad had to land because of the required shutdown of the entire system. Now if GW new this was going to happen why would he allow his Father to be in the air atteh same time on the same day ?????

If Holder is so determined to investigate Bush and his poeple, then since the first bombing occurred during Clinton's adminstration, Holder needs to investigate that also as well as the attack on the USS Cole. And since Clinton believes in "kidnapping" Holder needs to investigate that also.

A day of service is a great thing. It reminds me of all the firefighters and police that helped on that day, all the medical workers and blood donors that helped afterward. And how America was a closer nit community. A day of service, real 9/12 values.

Yes, thanks Fox I'm looking forward to watching this program. I still am very angry about what these COWARDS did to our citizens on 9/11. Until OSamba is brought to justice, we need to stay focused on 9/11. Perhaps then Americans will have some closure. I don't think our fathers and grandfathers forgot about Pearl Harbor, so why should we stop remembering 9/11?
