Gee Pat, the Huffpo never lets me post criticism of their supposed talent. The bunch that gets their rocks off on bashing Palin, the elitists that want only glorification of their articles, never a different view. The intelligent poster sees their bloggers for what they are, leeches making a buck with innuendo and unnamed sources. Take a look at some of the bios from the contributors, many have good credentials, but it's offset by their obsessive pettiness. Article after article about Sarah Palin, intelligent people do not obsess about a "nobody".

I'm not sure why Dowd should be accepted by polite society or seriously considered a "journalist". Surely, this seething, hateful and uncivil rant should be considered "politics of personal destruction" and pitched back in the gutter, where it originated.

You see Gregory, you've just "done gone and proven me point agin". You can't quantitatively judge common sense, nor can you qualitatively when dealing with ideologies. Your lot seems to think it has the market cornered on common sense, and by tossing out that old canard you think it some sort of trump card against liberals without really considering the significance of the concept. Common sense is not a static, immutably or an easily verifiable concept or there would be laws for breaking it. So again, I throw out the challenge to you. Prove to me WHY I lack common sense. Because I DON'T think Sarah Palin is an honest intelligent person who would make a good leader for this nation? Because I think the Maureen article is well written and spot-on? The onus is on you to prove your accusation, not on me to defend it. So, take you best shot and use a highly subjective concept to slag me.

I mean, I heard this accusation cast against me a dozen or so times here, but no one has bellied up to the debate to offer up any proof to the accusation. I lack common sense because, why? Sites like this are great. Where else can you find liberals that dare to peddle their wares in public. Usually they are couched behind charades like Town hall meetings, press conferences where BO gets kissed with every question, and infomercials. This way conservatives of every persuasion get to pick at their bones, little b little destroying their arguments. Which by the way consist of one statement, she's a quitter. They don't dare present their liberal agenda and speak about it so they leave themselves defenseless, not that they have a foundation to defend the pillaging of our nation by obscene spending, lying about who will or will not be taxed and pretending they can find "savings" to cover the cost of health care, care they will end up providing to illegals in order to buy their votes. Yes sir, I'll bet the same garbage is spouted at the liberal sites as well. If these libs weren't here we'd have to travel to their site where they typically hide.

All you've done here is whine about Al Gore, awards (which you know nothing about) called me an elitist (thank you BTW) and insulted Maureen after first calling her "Huffington" (which proved you didn't read the article you only looked at the photo and thought that image was of Ariana). As for the liberal sites, you should read the daily Kos once and a while and the comments on the Huffington post, although it maybe tricky for you. They use a LOT of big multisyllabic words, and the written text usually compares to university level writing which requires a greater amount of attention to respond, than simply incorrectly basing your emotive arguments of topic photos. I'm not kidding, they level of writing on those two sites is stellar, and there is a LOT of commenting. Posts usually number in the thousands and not merely the hundreds like with this rather crudely designed site. But you are welcome to participate in the other sites, no one will PICK YOUR BONES, but they may engage in you in a debate about why you think the way you think.

We all knew the left would continue to do all they can to discredit and destroy Sarah Palin; this twit is nothing new. She is writting to her declining fan base, and not to America. Maureen Dowd will soon disapear into oblivion as Sarah Palin excells in whatever evdeavor she embarks. I don't pretend to know what Sarah Palin has in mind for her future, but I do understand her decision to resign. Before all you fools on the left continue to bash Sarah Palin, let me remind you that your Buffoon in the White House left his job in the senate with only two years there to campain for president. When he was there in the senate he voted present and did nothing to better this country. The difference is, Sarah actually did do many great things for Alaska in her 2 1/2 short years, and unlike Barack, she will not leave her seat vacant for two years. Voting present is the same as not being there, and shows the lack of ability to make a decision.

I was born and raised in Vermont, been to Quebec and Montreal many a time. I like Montreal. But as I've seen many times, when they travelled to Vermont, they had no qualms jumping ahead in line, spending Canadian currency, and complaining that it was discounted for the exchange rate.
