Oliver Stone: 'Reagan Was a Dumb Son of a Bitch... and Bush Was Dumber'

Film producer/director Oliver Stone, a far-left promoter of conspiracies who is working on a sequel to his 1987 'Wall Street' movie, declared on Friday night's edition of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher that “Reagan was a dumb son of a bitch” and “I really think George W is dumber” and so, after producing movies on the CIA conspiracy to murder President Kennedy and a dark look at President Nixon, he won't create a movie on Ronald Reagan because “by doing the W movie I kind of put all my efforts behind dumbness.”

2ndstgin,
I know GWs national guard record is sketchy but the Dear Leader in office now has not ever served in the military and there is a questionable selective service card.

What about Clinton and his handling of military actions? If you don't want to call that dumb, then I am misunderstanding the definition.

Mr. Stone must be under the misapprehension that he is relevant. I thought he was dead. He's one of those people that lets off a noxious odor now and then just to let us know that he is keeping company with Miniver Cheevy.

Go to www.heritage.org and listen to some of Reagan's speeches. If it's true (as some here think) that Reagan had Alzheimer's through out both terms.
Well maybe the Alzheimer's blocked out all of the political correctness and liberal nonsense and allowed him to only think about simpler times when people were responsible for themselves! Oh, about the SOB comment, that is far worse than having Alzheimer's because he has no excuse. He showed all of his intelligence!

One thing that I remember about Reagan was that he never seemed to be quite with the program. We didn't know it at the time but he was actual suffering from the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.

I guess he defied the Alzeimer's disease by remembering his speeches. Didn't use a teleprompter, either. The more logical argument is he might have been having problems toward the end of his presidency.

When exactly did you diagnosed the former Pres with Alzheimer's? You are indicating that he was suffering from it his entire administration, and that I do not believe. If he had, the Dems would liked to have done nothing more then to have him removed from office being 'unable to fulfill the office..' they did, and still do not, like Reagan (or Nancy), and would have had a certain delight in disgracing him publicly.
He was certainly displaying it at Nixon's funeral.

What is most interesting, is the fact the liberals/socialists/communists, can continue to lie, and the rest of us are expected to believe their crud !!!
The fact is, the more you lie, after a while the lies become true. That's the silko liberals for you !!!

Finally someone says the truth. Reagan and Bush have run our economies in the ground. Both doubled the national debt... CHECK THE RECORD. We went from being a creditor nation before Reagan to the worlds largets debtor nation in eight years. Reagan said deficits didn't matter. And Bush followed his blueprint.
