Wow. These guys want to call themselves newspeople. Amazing. That comment by Steve Doucy at the end of the video speaks volumes. "He watched it last night, so we didn't have to....". Typical. Like so many here, he'd rather let someone else do the thinking for him. You complain about state run media....you say you don't like the government telling you what to do or what to think. How is it any different than what is going on here? It seems most on here decided before the program even aired that it was going to be nothing more than an "infomercial", therefore many refused to watch it...which was undoubtedly the goal of this network anyway...to keep you from watching the competition. That way your mind is "not corrupted" and you're still open to the indoctrination here. Most are all to willing to go along with it...ironic the way your side calls the other side "sheep".

I am a surgical nurse at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The surgeons I work with tell me to be very, very scared of the new health care plan about to be voted on by Congress. They told me to get everything done that I need to have done in the next couple of months before Congress votes on the new health care plan. We need a march on Washington to let them know we aren't happy with their decisions about their thoughts about our healthe care coverage. AMERICA, WAKE UP!!

My cousin was diagnosed with MS a few years ago. At the time he had a good job with good (he thought) health insurance (Aetna). Since the diagnosis, Aetna has cancelled his health insurance 3 times, and he's had to go to court to keep it. The 1st time he was notified in writing, the other 2 he had no notice. His doctor's office had to tell him. This constant scenario we here against universal health care, "putting a bureaucrat between you and your doctor," is rubbish. Why do you want a "clerk" working for a company with a profit motive making those decisions? On the other hand, I'm retired from the military and have government insurance (Tricare). I do not have to worry about getting denied care or going bankrupt if I get sick.

Army Vet,
We're retired military too. I don't know how old you are but wait till you go on medicare. The military forces you to go on medicare planB, whatever medicare doesn't pay "Tricare for Life" will pay the rest (medicare planB pays 80%, Tricare for Life will pay 20%) even if you can continue to see a doctor on base. In our case our base has a shortage of doctors and the hospital commander told everybody age 65 or older to seek a physician off base. You as the sponsor you can choose to go to a Veterans hospital but your wife can't unless she too has served in the military

You think you are getting treated until you age out and have to be on Medicare and can no longer go on base. Then you will find out all the things that were wrong and the Military did not treat because it was too expensive. My parents have just aged out of going on base and now see a private doctor, my dad has had to have two surgies, my mom has had two, both are being examined for other problems for treatment that was in their medical records, but the Miltary took it only so far and then stopped because it was too expensive.
