GOP Cries Foul Over ABC-Obama Infomercial
Opponents of President Obama's proposed health care reform are blasting ABC News for refusing to air opposing ads during a prime time special next Wednesday, just as a new study finds ABC News coverage of the president's health care plan is favorable by a ratio of 3 to 1. The prime time special -- called "Questions for the President: Prescription for America" -- will be a nationally televised event during which Obama will answer questions presented by audience members selected by ABC News. The network has refused to accept advocacy ads during the hourlong show.

Fox should dedicate that evenings programming to a rebuttal. It doesn't have to be partisan. Invite some representatives- no presidential candidates, please- give them the podium and let them give their ideas. Make it live, give us way to ask questions. We know they are being steamrolled, we need to know how to help. Tell us which Dems are being intimidated and threatened, so that we may offer them support. Pelosi et al may think they are in power, and it's time We the People remind them who is the boss. Please FOX allow us to connect with our representatives, we are losing hope as we watch so many things being forced through the Congress, without any input or debate.

You have a wonderful idea and I wish I could do it. We have to do something drastic, but, I couldnt afford it financially. I am making less than a third of the money monthly, that I was making last year, and still have as many if not more bills now. Gas prices are rising quickly, and time off can not be done.

Our closest local channel is an ABC affiliate. I wrote to them and told them that the only thing I watch is the local news and weather because of the bias on the network.

Anyone that watches FOX realizes that some of the shows lean right. However, the actual news reports are factual and they report all of the news, not just what will support a certain agenda. Also, what is wrong with a station that actually knows something about conservatism, when the American people are constantly being brainwashed by all of the other stations with the liberal loonacy.

Fox News doesn’t report a lot of the news. With out ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN we would not know the whole story on the white house dog, or the dress MO wore to the $100 steak party. Tony Snow was not promoting gov. run health care. Tony Snow did not shut out any opposing point of view by setting up a promotional infomercial to be aired by only one station. . Do you care about the issue of health care and what it will mean to all Americans now and in the future?

Now, listen this might actually help you in understanding what is going on. So, you say it is an infomercial. You are wrong, but lets go with that for a second. Why wouldn't you watch it to hear the words directly about what he wants to do. Get it straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. You could then go to FOX and get the spin you need to survive. Then you would at least have both sides of the argument in full. I realize again it might ruin the illusion of what you think FOX News is, but in the interest of truth, why would........ppphhhwwwtppp!
