I had a client who was going to vote for "Hillary" JUST because she was a woman..no other reason,she did not even need to read about her, or so she said. When Hillary lost and Palin came into play, that same client became a hypocrit and would not vote for her!So it's o.k. if it's a liberal woman..Conservative women need to make their voices heard!!!!!! One way is to support Sara with these contemptuous legal fees!!!

I LOVE Sarah Palin and everything that she stands for. When I voted in November it was not so much for McCain, as it was for Sarah. I would definately give to her legal fund, and if she runs for president in '12 she will have a staunch supporter in me. It is so refreshing to see a smart young woman who is not afraid to stand up for her convictions, even though at times, they are not "pc". Sarah for president!! She would bring dignity and character back to the white house.

In my life, I have only donated sizable amounts of cash to one other organization. That being, " Children's Hospital " But after seeing this report of what basically amounts to, Political Henchmen filing law suits to place a financial strangle hold on Sarah Palin just because of her political persuasions, I can no longer sit by and do nothing.
When Gov. Palin starts a Legal Defense Fund, I will be sure to contribute ! Federal law states that donations can not exceed $1,000 per person when donating to a " Legal Defense Fund " This shouldn't be a problem ! I will be sure to inform all of my friends & associates. I'm sure they will do so as well.
No political organization has the right to burden an individual with such actions just so they can further their own cause. Especially when that individual is supporting and raising a family. What part of " This is hurting a family " don't they get ! Is hurting a family the unintended or intended consequences of their actions? I've seen a lot of hate and maliciousness out of the so called "Party of Tolerance" the last couple of years. I'm beginning to wonder what their true intentions are.

Way to go Bill. I hope Sarah gives you the go ahead to set up a fund for her. I have never seen such a ruthless group of people as the ones filing false lawsuits against an innocent person. I would only hope that she would counter-suit them for attorneys' fees and defemation of character. That would stop these lawsuits in the tracks.

Sarah Palin is a down to earth person who by he skills and energy is running
an efficient goverment in Alaska. Alaska is one of the few states that is not
running on deficit and has a surplus to weather this depression. She has
recommended only 55 percent of the money allocated to Alaska. The money
she is accepting will generate jobs, protect exisiting ones, and not bloat the
government with programs they cannot support in the future. As to the latest
etical complaint relates to her using clothing with the decals of the company
that made the snow machine which the Dude was riding in the race. She is
accused of using her position to promote this product. Finally, liberals are
AFRAID of her, hence the need to try to destroy her.

So James, which is it? Either Alaska has a surplus (as you seem to think) or, Alaska has a nearly a half billion dollar deficit already, with predictions for that deficit to increase to nearly 1.5 billion dollars by 2010 (as the Alaskan Dept. of Revenue seems to think).

Alaska may have a budget shortfall, however they have $28 Billion in oil money funds, they do not collect state income tax and state residents receive an dividend check every year. How fearful do you think any resident in Alaska is about the possibility of the state going under.
Now I'm a conserative and am somewhat taken aback by the folks on the left with all this tolerance talk, yet you come here just to grind Jame's nose into the ground for not including a "citation" and then proceed to go into the predictable name calling and taunting routine the left is so famous for.
Finally, you can certianly not a budget official with the state of Alaska or your citations would not have just included Reuters articals. So from a home-schooled cry-baby my question is this; how long did it take to gain the indepth knowledge of the Alaska State budget you state we lack? We have a 5B surplus which we are using to cover the current shortfalls. The current budgets are running short due to the drop in oil prices which are about half of those projected. To cope, we will spend less. That may sound weird to you.

Just wanted to clarify a couple of things. These are facts, believe them or not but for a taxpaying citizen fo the tax strapped state of Illinois I will take the tax conditions in Alaska anytime. Please note in the attached info that there is no tax on the citizens of Alaska and that the states revenue is from them big bad oil companies and the Fed. I noticed that what you sited was from Reuters and these are quotes from unnamed legislative leaders....hummm wonder if they are supporters of Gov Paling. I would not bet on it. They are most likely the same slugs that are filling these stupid law suites against her becaus as said before the Democratic party and for sure the bleeding heart liberals are scared to death of her.

ALASKA is like NO OTHER STATE, COUNTRY OR CITY - It has NO state Income Tax and NO state sales tax and it sends cash money to its citizens each year. The state is primarily funded by Oil and Gas related revenues and money from the Federal Government.

Mark Sanford is the Governor of South Carolina.(Republican) He is not very popular with the liberals as he wants to use stimulas money to pay down state debt. Obammy says no!Mark Sanford understands that you can't borrow your way out of debt and that you should pay your bills before you create new debt. Don't think the liberal democratic machine is stopped just because the election is over. All these charges and harassment now are so that if/when she runs again the media can say.... She was charged with this and that, had ethics violations charge (leaving out the part about them being dropped) etc. This is just fuel for the future if needed.
