I only wish you could have asked him why the and his fellow dummies got a pay raise for doing such a horrible job on our behalf....and why it wasn't presented to us first before they all took it. Since when can an employee take raises without their bosses first saying it is worthy? This country is so screwed!

The fact that they can give themselves pay raises irritates me, also. 95% of them are multi-millionaires, either by owning/operating businesses or marrying money(Pelosi/ Feinstein, ETC). Why should they even get a salary? The original Congress was made up of farmers, lawyers, and businessmen and only convened for a limited time. The rest of the time, they, were working at their trade.
I think we should go back to that scenario in some form.

At first I laughed so hard at this arrogant/ignorant congressman. His refusal to answer a simple question and then he said it would be the Sec. Of the Treasury's decision as to the bonus cap on CEOs. When it became clear the Rep. was serious, I CRIED FOR MY COUNTRY.

Thank you Neil! That is the purpose of Constitutional protection of the Press - to ensure they hold the weasels feet to the fire and to be the Watchdog over the government and to keep the People informed. Instead, the Press is in bed with the lying weasles and lieing to American people.
It is time for the American people to hold the Press and our goverment to account and to put every issue and proposed law through the Constitutional filter. Our goverment has been UnConstitutional for far too long and the only time our founding documents are mentioned is to crucify Bush or any conservative. Everything this administration and congress has done is unconstitutional and yet no one asks the question "where in the Constitution do you find the authority to do this"? Tea Party in Washington!!! It's so interesting how the government is finger pointing at the busines's of this country when the bottom line, THEY ARE THE PROBLEM. Everything they are saying about the evil of the bonusis and hand slapping, their words could easily be turned right around at them. I wish we could sit there and put them in the hot seat and ask them the tough questions that they NEVER want to answer.

The government has NEVER been able to run anything that works. Just look at the US government postal system. They are hurting. Now that the corrupt government officals want to have a do as I say policy in the private sector or else, we are in for troubling times for this country like never before, and a huge dictaorship from the government. It was similar to watching Glen Beck dive into the NJ AG about the law behind going after the AIG bonuses... they seem to be on a different planet!!
