Another non-story. It's not even a story, just one sentence. She's young and probably hasn't traveled much except for vacations and to make movies. At least her eyes have been opened and maybe she'll start paying more attention to what the country looks like outside of Hollywood.

New at this thing but had a point to make to poster Phil (I replied to him and guess not right format for all to see) and this shows that Fox did their homework. Dunst is quoted in Allure Magazine as making that statement! So Mr. Phil's claim that there is no linking article to verify the claim, it is above!

As an Actor I would have quessed that she as been a few places. My job takes me to many places around this country and around the world. I have seen places where people lived with livestock in the house with them, where water was pulled out of a hole in the ground, were people have one change of clothes. These people would consider themself lucky to count themself as one of America's poor.

I live in a 3 bdrm, 2 bath A Frame in Anchorage, AK and drive a 25k and a 30K new model vehicles. We are blessed and well supplied but I come from an impoverished background and was rescued and raised in a Christian Childrens Home. Thank God cuz I went through school and am now married with 2 terrific kids of my own and we're getting foster kids soon. SO! What is poverty really? Roof, food, education and medical care not supplied? We Americans do that for folks all over the world and not just here. If your kids aren't eating then its cuz you haven't been pointed to the right social program, public or private, faith based or secular. If your kids and family are impoverished it is more than likely due to a democratic seizure of industrial cities and their funds, running down eduction, running off jobs and blowing money on everything but worthwhile social programs. Look at Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, NY, St. Louis, etc. To this Hollywood spoiled brat...our household might seem poor. We are far from. Most of AK's homeless choose to be homeless even in the bitterest winter. However, we Alaskans have shelters, food, blankets and clothing...along with a hot cup o' coffee and a smile to help them out. Always, every year, no matter what. That is as it should be. In North Korea these folks would be rounded up, shot and buried in a mass grave as if they were nothing. For us Americans they are people who need understanding and love just like everybody else. I know...I was homeless once.

I would like to know how much of her wealth she shared with America's poor while she was flying around every place. Viewing the poor will probably now take off into a reality show. I have suggestion: a hollywood elitist can take turns with a member of a poor family and live with their family a month. Of course all they'll get out of it is intertainment.
