Video: Wild Tea Party Heckler Gets Arrested!
A man has been arrested in downtown Brunswick after disrupting a Tea Party protest against the Democrats' healthcare reform plan. Around 20 members of the Golden Isle Tea Party Patriots and other participants were holding signs and waving at passing cars in front of the main post office. First Coast News was there when Zack Lyde from Brunswick walked up shouting at the group and started a verbal confrontation with protesters. When a Brunswick police officer asked Lyde to leave, he refused. As officers tried placing him under arrest, he attempted to wriggle out of their grasp. Read more here.

He was arrested for violation of a City Ordnance. It's no more complicated than that. The portestors had a permit, he did not. Then, he would not listen to the Officer. You Libs sure have a lot to learn about law and order.

People all over this country are going crazy over the tea party movement. I would like to know where these people are while PETA is giving kids bloody un-happy meals and code pink is disrupting court rooms. Would anyone really think they can just walk in to a sanctioned protest and act like a fool? At the end it also comes back to respecting our police officers... this man showed no respect for the job and duties of those officers. Real people that need help are now cast asode because they have to tazzer some nut...

I did not agree with that mans political position, however, I don't think he should have been arrested. Does he not have freedom of speech? Why would he or anyone else need a permit to protest? If need permits to protest our government or support it, we have lost our right of free speach already. Another thing that bothered me was how willing the officers were to arrest this man. How much power and authority have we given our officers? Too much it looks like. Do police take an outh to uphold the Constitution?
