Former Miss Argentina Dies After Bottom Operation
Solange Magnano, 38, passed away on Sunday after suffering complications resulting from cosmetic surgery, friends said.
"A woman who had everything lost her life to have a slightly firmer behind," said Roberto Piazza, a fashion designer and friend of the model who often walked the runway in his shows.
He said she underwent a gluteoplasty – a procedure which normally involves placing implants in the buttocks to improve their outline – which turned fatal when liquid injected "went to her lungs and brain."

I guess her self esteem was connected totally to her looks, that is too bad and very sad. She leaves behind the kids and husband, but she made a fine looking corpse. I say this as the 4 police officers, who are about her age, didn't get the chance to grow old, their lives where taken, their choice was their profession and it cost them their lives. Sorry, I don't feel a bit of sympathy for this woman, for her family, yes, for her, NO, none, nada, zilch.

Sad time in society when a beautiful 38 year old woman looks at herself and thinks, "Sure don't look like I did at 28". Then thinks she must do this for vanity sake. God rest her soul. We really need to start paying attention to what is most important in life and quit listening to miserable people.

People do these on a voluntary basis because of their own self esteem (or lack thereof). The risk is always there regardless of the procedure. She made her decision and paid the greatest of consequences. Please do not place blame on her because that is not fair. Society has nothing to do with it. It was her call and she made it ... period!
