Strategy: Democracy is finally taking hold in the wake of Saddam Hussein's dictatorship. That, not American withdrawal, should be the big story. It's time to acknowledge success and to learn from it.
You wouldn't know it from most news coverage, but the Iraq story continues and — get this — it's a story of emerging victory. What else can you call it when a stable democracy, the ultimate goal in America's military intervention, is in sight?

Winning or victory is directly related to the goal sought. The left sees no gain in this struggle. So we can't expect them to understand the concept of "win". We have forgotten that democrates have no stomach for our security as it shows itself in aggression and war. We are beginning to hear the chorus being sung in this tragedy about who is victim and who is the criminal. This attitude has obviously infected the FBI and to some extent high levels of the military and the diplomatic corp. We are no longer vigilant. We are missing the signals and the messages of an approaching threat. We are becoming more and more vulnerable.

By the way, take a look at our economy, our so-called representatives, our slowing eroding freedom of speech, Big Brother, the greed and corruption in Congress, jail for not having health insurance, a chasm between the left and the right, and you think that other nations appreciate our attempting them to have a democracy such as ours is right now? How can you Fox Noise morons be so stupid as to believe this garbage that we won in Iraq. If we fought WW2 like this we'd be speaking German. The invasion of Iraq was predicated on lies of the Bush Administration. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, nor did it have WMD's. America is getting its comeuppance in Iraq!
