Yes, lets seed the idea in peoples minds that if you get ill under Obamacare you will be whisked away for 10 years hard labour in concentration camps. Like Sprater says its just childish.
If you watched Glenn Beck's program Monday he proved it without a doubt how it is right in line with Sal Alinsky's Rules for Radicals

who are these people talking to when they throw around words like gulag, nazi's,brownshirts.likening the issue to these words that conjure the thought of the atrocities associated with them is childish.this issue does not represent evil on either side, but health care, along with cap and trade and immigration pose the most serious economic threat that our country has faced in ages.the way we deal with these problems could cripple our nation for decades or longer.these issues call for serious debate and serious intelligent opposition.most americans get this point and our leaders are expected to respond with intelligence and integrity

I don't care who you are, the entire health care fiasco being discussed is wrong. Free enterprise, states rights, and individual freedoms should not be sacrificed for a small handful of people. Health care is expensive because of a lack of tort reform, scared doctors practicing medicine having to carry expensive insurance, and the incredible cost to train a doctor. Neither bill under consideration is worth the paper it is printed on and every American needs to understand that reforms of health care CAN NOT come from Washington D.C., but from individual choices demanding better performance.

The systematic revocation of our freedoms is happening slowly enough to avoid protest - one step at a time only prompts the saturation effect response of "oh – I guess that's okay" by the silent majority - until a sudden realization that we've become a socialist nation with no freedoms - under the control of a power hungry regime... WAKE-UP folks!

Cornyn voted for the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, but against the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009.
In other words Ok to give money to banks and Wall Street- but not to struggling major American businesses or Citizens.
Kind of makes me wonder who he is beholding to......

I know how much Cornyn respects Sen Franken so this should be welcome news. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) is now leading a group including Sens. Jay Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) to introduce an amendment that would go further by requiring that 90 percent of the money consumers spend on health insurance premiums go directly to health care costs. The senators are proposing a reform that strikes at the heart of a health insurance system that puts profits first, and it would have a profound effect. When MLRs(medical loss ratio) increase, that eats into profits, and Wall Street becomes very unhappy.

and subsequently, there goes the quality of your health care..nice bill Smalley. These guys would do anything to bankrupt health care and expand the inefficiency of government.

ooooh, profits are bad...real bad...businesses should only be in business to employ the people (then where would government get tax revenue). GIVE ME A BREAK...I supposed you believe, like a good percentage of high school students, that "from each according to their ability to each according to their needs" is written in the US Constitution.
