Gallup: Americans Still Against Obamacare

Americans currently tilt against Congress' passing healthcare legislation, with 49% saying they would advise their member to vote against a bill (or they lean that way) and 44% saying they would advocate a vote in favor of the bill (or lean toward advising a yes vote).

These results are based on a Nov. 20-22 USA Today/Gallup poll, and are essentially unchanged from a poll conducted earlier this month. Within the last month, the House has passed a version of healthcare legislation, and the Senate voted on Nov. 21 to allow debate on its healthcare bill. That debate is scheduled to begin Monday.

Passing this bill is terrible for small business, the very people who support the economy. I have a small business with employees that have more benifits than myself and my family. Funny the gov will mandate I pay for health care for them and due to the increasing taxes I can't afford to pay for my own.

It will cost so much more than they project & I'm trying to dfigure out how to help my 5 children & their children without asking for them to help me.as I age. You couldn't be more correct in your statement. Can anyone, anyone please tell me on thing that Obama has done since coming into office that has helped this country financially or otherwise !! Every decision he has made has been the wrong one and if you look back and follow the trail, most of his decisions have hurt this country and her people. This is all about a power grab by the White House, control, buying votes, selling out the stockholders, supporting the unions, buying votes with Acorn and the Unions, raiding and pilfering the Treasury, spending our tax dollars, staying in the campaign trail for 2012, the installation of a Marxist government and dictatorship; all of this brought to you with smoke, mirrors, spin jobs, lies and corruption; if it's not Obama, it's his Chicago thugs such as AG Holder, Immanual, Garrett, Dodd, Franks, Pelosi, Boxer and the list is endless. a person would have to be totally disillusioned at this point to not be against this healthcare reform ......it is stupider than stupid does!!!!!! It is like a layaway plan for health....pay for five years and then get the product.....how dumb is this.
I can only imagine how many people would be with healthcare today if only Obama fixed the economy, focused on tort reform, allowed insurance companies to sell across state lines, and quit giving free healthcare to illegals....we would almost be there......if only......

Just got a hold of Senator Landrieu's office and told them how SHAMEFUL and DISTASTEFUL I thought it was for her signing the bill for a $300 million dollar BRIBE...You know what her D.C. office said? "Oh, Senator Landrieu didn't sign the healthcare bill because of the money, she just wanted to get the talking going on healthcare." Know what I told her? Lady, WE ARE NOT STUPID and it was a BRIBE she took to sign and that I was NOT VOTING FOR HER AGAIN! They REALLY think WE are stupid over there in congress ya'll!!!

Indifference, as well as silence, is surrender. I ma against everything this regime with it's radicals has produced and it does not appear that I will alter my positioin of opposition any time in the near future. EVERY piece of legislation is bent on breaking the back of the American taxpayer with the sole purpose of "redistributing the wealth". Well, I am one American Patriot who has been very tired of it for the last 10 months and am increasing my efforts at neutralizing his "agenda" through the representatives who are not doing their job - REPRESENTING the very ones who elkected them.
