Well, Lady, if this passes no one will be using Medicare. This bill cuts 500 billion from it. It won't be worth using with rationing ( mammograms anyone?) and government deciding what treatments you can and can't have. Sarah Palin was right it turns out. And the reason Republicans don't want to even debate this disaster is because no amount of debate can fix something this badly flawed. 97% of bills which get debated end up as law. That would be a disaster for this country.

Madam, you clearly haven't read this bill and aren't paying attention. Virtually EVERY analysis says this will RAISE costs of health care, RAISE taxes on the middle class, and further skyrocket the deficit. Even the CBO scores it that way in the second 10 years. The ONLY reason the first 10 years looks reasonable is because taxes begin immediately and benefits don't start to pay out until 2014... 10 years of collections, but only 5 of expenditures. Plus they don't count the $250 billion "doctor fix" they just passed. What a joke. This isn't going to "save" anyones "arse".
