White House Blasts NYT for Obamacare Story
A senior White House official took on the New York Times on Tuesday over a story the paper ran warning of the fiscal impact of health reform.
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Peter Orszag called out the paper's news story on the White House blog, emphasizing that President Barack Obama is committed to signing a health bill that is deficit-neutral.
"Every two weeks or so, there seems to be a story ringing the alarm bells over the fiscal dimension of health reform," Orszag wrote in his blog post. "As I've said time and again, the President is committed to signing a health reform bill that is deficit neutral in the first decade – and deficit reducing thereafter."

The white house seems to be losing it's "base", one brick at a time"! NYT, independents, gays, and about a 20% of democrat voters! The "astroturf" according to Pelosi) seems to be growing in size and "threat"! And I cannot help but notice that it might be contributed as much to the BOwad's stupidity, as to our determination! The NY "terrorist trials" just might have been one of HIS major contributions to our "cause". Add his Obamacare, and Cap and Trade proposal, and a "snowball" has a better chance in hades!

Orszag is supposed to be neutral in this entire fiasco but now it is blatantly obvious he is "working" for the administration. How can something that collects "taxes" three years ahead of expenses be deficit neutral? It can't, and the costs and tax differences are off base as well.

HealthCare, he says is deficit neutral when it kicks really starts in 2013. The first three years are already in deficit so it has to be deficit neutral so we disregard that 30%. We assume that it will lower cost, eliminate fraud, and stop wasteful spending so they will be saving money, does anybody that is an adult believe in "neverneverland". Government has never stayed within budget and if they can why not elimate all the fraud and waste that is currently so rampant before we re-invent the system.
