Dem 'Confident' Abortion Amendment Will Be Stripped

A House Democratic leader said Monday she's “confident” controversial language on abortion will be stripped from a final healthcare bill.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), the Democrats’ chief deputy whip in the House, said that she and other pro-abortion rights lawmakers would work to strip the amendment included in the House health bill that bars federal funding from subsidizing abortions.

I am not religeous! Abortion is legal, however, Pregnancy is an avoidable condition and Abortion is Elective Surgery. There is no logical reason I, as a taxpayer, should pay to correct a condition caused by your carelessness. Take responsibility for your actions and use your own money to terminate the life you created. Don't put the burden on me. I want a clear conscience that I am not terminating a new life.

Well whoever said that the "doctrine of predestination" was false needs to think again. If the Senate wipes out the non-funding of abortion in this bill and it gets approved "we the people" will control Congress. This is a perfect example of diarhea of the mouth of a total ignoramus who wants her name in the paper. Pelosi can kiss her votes in the House good-bye and her power if it passes. From under what rock do they crawl and how do these pedantic sycophants get elected? I know a lot of us Floridians are not well educated and some are borderline senile but do the all live in her district?

I'm 65 years old and never paid much attention at all to the goings on in Congress but have watched / listened VERY CLOSELY this time around and I am REALLY, REALLY stunned at the tricks / games that go on. I always assumed there was vote trading but I had no idea that a bill could be passed and then just totally changed with backroom deals. How can THAT be okay? You vote on one thing and something completely different gets signed into law? WTF???????
