There is NO program coming out of the government that can run efficiently. Just look at all the program presently existing. They are all in shambles and cost more than the benefits they are supposed to provide. Smaller government, less intrusion into public business... Send the message "WE THE PEOPLE" and vote everyone out of office. It was not meant to be a career move.

We are in trouble. I'm from West Virginia and I see my representatives supporting this beast and I am dumb-founded. How supposedly intelligent men (in my state) can stand there with a straight face and tell us this is what's best for the people is not comprehensible. All I can figure, is that they are either on the take to some interest group, or they want to see the collapse of our country.
A first grader knows that you can't spend money you don't have. We can use credit you say or we can print more cash. Sure we can, but at what costs? Our representatives have to know the financial implications when the common man understands them fully.

well, it took awhile. and i finally finished reading the bill. i have to say, as somebody who voted for palin and bush, as somebody who absolutely despises obonga and his socialist coalition, i believe that this bill has what it takes to reform the healthcare industry in a substanital way. for the better.
i understand that is hard to believe, but what isn't hard to believe these days? an african american president, a call for gays to be serving with our nation's finest. everything is so topsy turvy now you really have no option but to think outside the box.

MoveOn.org Threatens Democrats Over 'Public Option'
The left-wing organization MoveOn.org is warning that any Democrat who joins Republicans in filibustering the "public-option" insurance plan will lose support from the organization's 5 million members.
MoveOn.org issued the threat in an e-mail to its supporters on Tuesday, one day after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced that the Senate's version of a healthcare reform bill would include the government-run insurance program.
The group said it surveyed its members and found that 93 percent agreed that "any senator who helps block an up-or-down vote on a healthcare bill with the public option should lose the support of all five million of us — no donations, no volunteering, and no help getting out the vote."
Although it supports Reid's bill, MoveOn.org takes issue with a provision that would give states a path to opt out of the public option.
"The 'opt-out' version of the public option has real problems," the group's e-mail stated.
"The most conservative states in the country would likely opt out, potentially leaving millions of uninsured folks without access to the affordable healthcare a public option would provide."
Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut, an independent Democrat, has already said he would back a GOP filibuster of Reid's bill because of its inclusion of the public option.

A few things you can count on if this POS bill gets passed...It will be harder to find a doctor, seeing as a large number of them will retire or close up shop. You will have higher taxes. You will see higher unemployment. And you will see more people being forced out of the coverage thay have. And many doctor's will not accept this ne public option...almost 52% of doctors now no longet accept Midcare..So what good is coverage if you can't find a doctor that will take it.
