Reparations By Way of Health Care Reform?
Legislation: Still believe in post-racial politics? Read the health care bill. It's affirmative action on steroids, deciding everything from who becomes a doctor to who gets treatment on the basis of skin color.President Obama is on the record as being officially opposed to reparations for slavery. I just heard on fox news that no one should pay for someone having pre existing conditions such as cancer. I was appaule at what he said. He said that if they can't pay, then so be it, basically let them die. I hope that no one in your family get's sick, the republicans will just let them die. Even as we speak,, legislators are behind closed doors trying to find a way to get it through. In spite of all the opposition, they are still pushing. I would hope it would give them pause at least. It should get them to slow down a lot. You better have your statistics right dems...come 2010, you are going to lose it all. This is not the change the nation was promised nor wants. We should be satisfied with fix it. not change it.

When the 12 million + illegals covered in this bill start accessing the U.S. healthcare system and our borders still wide open....to keep the system from going bankrupt entirely, I think BO is going to have to begin lowering the age for "end-of-life counseling". Sort of like he has had to lower the amount of money which makes a person "wealthy".

Yes, this is true. In addition Diane Sebelius gets to distribute grants to "community programs" for medical residents in training. The recipients of the grants get to write the medical curricula for the medical residents. (Why redo what is already well tested, tried and implemented??? We don't need to duplicate spending for stuff already DONE!) So just imagine ACORN training our doctors.

On page 425 it says in black and white that EVERYONE on Social Security, (will include all Senior Citizens and SSI people) will go to MANDATORY counseling every 5 years to learn and to choose from ways to end your suffering (and your life). Health care will be denied based on age. 500 Billion will be cut from Seniors healthcare. The only way for that to happen is to drastically cut health care, the oldest and the sickest will be cut first. Paying for your own care will not be an option.
Now, CALL YOUR PEOPLE IN WASHINGTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell them to read page 425 if they don't read anything else. Surely some of them have parents.

Is there anybody else that is sick and tired of sitting down with there kids to watch bill, glenn, hannity and every 3min is another extenze commercial. AAAAHHHH. I love to watch these shows with my 3 year old but now I don't think it is appropriate and i;m not ready to explain to a 3 year old what they are trying to extend so please fox get some better advertizing. I ask everybody to bombard all of foxnews until they give up the easy money and respect family values.

I don't think it's as little as reparations to African Americans. It's social justice for all groups- esp unions. Did you take a look at all the newly formed committees on HC? MD's can't have ownership of health care facilities. These large advisory committees include only 1 MD, no nurse, a community member(code ACORN) and a union representative. Also, with our current nursing shortage, the bill states grants for nursing education will only be given to facilites co-owned by unions!!

What is end of life conformers I mean councilers
1/4 of medicare spending is made in a patients final years of life- so how are they going to cut medicare spending? But medicare WILL pay for end of life counseling (conforming). It is said counseling is sometimes conducted by people with and interest in steering patients away from hospital care and toward less expensive hospice care. Hospice care is end of life care, so does that mean if someone who is older and ill will be persuaded to forgo life saving measures to save money? This should really scare alot of people. I have nothing against hospice, as my father used it himself..but he was terminal and made the decision on his own.
