To lower healthcare cost, the drug companies should be held responsible for their products.
How many times does one go to the Dr. and get a drug that does not work for them and a day or two later has to try another one, or even worse, they have a bad reaction to the drug and end up in the emergency room?
If you buy shoes that don't fit, or you decide you don't like when you get home, you return them and get your money back. Buy groceries and get home to see that something is out of date or is the wrong brand, return it and get your money back. Whoever pays for these drugs that you can't use (yourself, insurance company, medicare, medicaid, etc) their just out of money, and it's a lot of money!

It is possible that socialized health care could lead to some sort of age discrimination and since that is against the law in this country, and, unless the government repeals it, they will have to provide FULL MEDICAL care regardless of what age or face a multitude of lawsuits. If I were 75 years of age and needed a hip replacement and were told to go home and take a pill because it was too expensive and not cost effective you can be darn well sure that their would be a big LAWSUIT.

Explain how a single school teacher can afford health insurance for his kids? the owner of the company that i work for went to washington with a lot of other small business men to have a meeting with congress. when he got back i asked him how did it go. he told me that this administration is not listening to any one. he said it's their way or the highway. This trip up there really scared him.
