AMEN Jeannieology!!! The Liberals and Democrats, ( even some Republicans), are sooo jealous and afraid of Sarah Palin it's almost funny! It also surprises me that so many women are jealous of her that all they want to do is trash her. There has never been any one else who has taken the abuse like Sarah has. Clinton had it easier with Monica!

I'm sorry, I think that Palin and her family are so sweet. But, she is an absolute idiot. John McCain disgraced the American election process by nominating her as his Vice-President. Everyone knows, it's obvious, that he only did this to capture votes. And she could've been an old man's failed heartbeat away from becoming the President of the United States, the greatest, richest, most powerful nation in the world. THAT is extremely scary. I mean, she said her proximity to Russia was foreign policy experience? I mean, seriously, are you kidding me?! That's a ridiculous notion! Just look at the way she composed herself during the election, the things she said, the way she conducted interviews (most notably, with Katie Couric).
She's sweet, and I feel sorry that her family was rushed into the spotlight, but that's the game these days. If you're a public figure, you're going to have to learn to roll with the punches. She is a sweet woman, but politically, it's for the best that she's out of the game.

Mid.May, your comments are full of contradictions, Sarah Palin rose to her position because of her family values and her ability to connect with America's Heartland. As far as the heartbeat of an old man comment, it was often thought and often cited that Joe Biden was only a bullet away from the Presidency.
As far as the US being the riches most powerful Nation? look at the unemployment rate under the leadership of a community organizer. Katie Couric interview was a set-up everybody knew that and Gov. Palin came back swing.
Your condescending comments as to Sarah Palin's personality although I'm sure they are sincere, in that as you should be aware is exactly the reason the Democratic Party despises her values.

At least Joe Biden is intelligent! Haha, I'm sure that Biden knows that the state that you governs proximity to a foreign nation is NOT "experience in foreign policy", that is a ridiculous notion! By the way, Biden is very educated on matters of foreign policy, which was probably why he was chosen as Vice-President. Because of the ISSUES, not to swing votes.
Yes, the unemployment rate is 9.5% (0.5% less than expected) but, we're still the wealthiest nation, by far [sourced in case you don't believe me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)]. And although the global recession was caused by the U.S., it has 'hit' the U.S. the least [also sourced: http://www.stratfor.com/weekly/20090602_geography_recession].
As far as the Katie Couric interview goes, I really doubt that Palin would go along with a 'set-up interview' in which SHE was the one made to look like an idiot. So many of the Republican Party's beliefs are founded on conspiracy theories.
And no, she did not come back full swing. Although she may have been popular within the base of the Republican Party, McCain and her lost the election. She looked like a loudmouth idiot the entire time, whose policies and beliefs were built upon untrue notions. America is not theocratic small town. And it shouldn't be governed as one. I do like Sarah Palin, but not her political ideology, or beliefs.

I'm sorry, but that made absolutely no sense. I don't know what Tsar is. Nor do I know what "dang wang whant a hang" means. If you would like for me to talk about Russia, I've studied it geopolitically, and would love to indulge on the topic. But quite frankly, I don't see how it's relevant to what we're talking about - domestic American politics.

I think that for a 2012 run, Palin just shot herself in the foot! I'm sure her intentions were noble as to not wanting to be a lame duck Governor. the problem now, is that she is a NO TERM Governor.
I think she will probably now devote most of her time Writing that Book that she got the deal on as well as going on the SPEAKING CIRCUIT where there is Big money to be made. She is Only 42, and has plenty of time to make a run for President, but NOT IN 2012.

Well I think she Governed Alaska independend of Washington DC and not too many Governors have done that, she's left the State in good hands.
As far as a book deal.. maybe, maybe not. I think more likely Citizen Palin does want to write a book, where's the problem. She needs to be able to defend the onslaught of false accusations the democratic party and liberal media continues to force on her and her family. Issues she could better defend outside of the day to day responsibilities of Governing the largest state in the Nation.
One thing I can all but guarantee, Citizen Palin will be an out spoken member of the Republican Party.
