Outgoing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday laid the groundwork to take on a larger, national role after leaving state government, citing a "higher calling" with the aim of uniting the country along conservative lines. A day after surprising even her closest friends by announcing she would step down as Alaska governor more than a year before her term was up, the controversial hockey mom was still keeping details of her future plans under wrap.

I wish BO had been scrutinized the same way Sarah Palin has been. I am sure that if anyone asked her to present her birth certificate to be sure she qualified to be POTUS by the rules of the U.S. Constitution she would have it handy along with her visa, college loan applications, and any papers she wrote showing her political viewpoints. She is not a smooth talker like BO, but she speaks from the heart and is able to relate to the average mainstream American without an idealogue writing her speaches. I predict that she will be out giving speaches to shore up the Conservative factions of this country. She will probably be advocating the adherence to the God given rights of WE THE PEOPLE. She will be a strong advocate of the U. S. Constitution.. The Dems. are afraid of her and it is very telling the way they persecute her and her children.

I think Washington is full of jealous little kids because they don't want one side or the other to out do the other. It is a constant feud between parties. That bunch can tell more lies than a court trial can. We can have a president that has an affair while in office but you let one republican look at another women they are ready to throw him out . Sarah Palin comes along and makes a big splash and all the liberals and democrats goes after her and even used her kids trying to disgrace her. Sarah Palin was first elected to a seat on the Wasilla City Council in October of 1992 and was reelected in 1995. In 1996, she ran for and won the Office of Mayor and was reelected in 1999. She concluded her public service as Mayor in 2002 and was unable to run again due to term limits.
