They didn't directly say that... but they were so "PC" it was disgusting. I'm so tired of hearing "(insert nation/religion)-American" as an adjective to describe people. If you are American, it doesn't matter what country your origins are from, or what color you are, or what language you and your relatives may speak (though English SHOULD be primary if you are a citizen), or what God (or idol) you worship. Clearly, ABC wants to go the PC route to appease other Muslims. What happened to real journalism - being watchdogs for the people? I am willing to bet that our service members are sleeping with one eye open in a garrison environment, in the supposed safety of thier own US installations. I served 20 years and if I were still on duty I would definitely be leary. Hasan is a coward and a terrorist and has given our service members something more to worry about. As if they need it.

I think that many people have heard of the use of color blind observers by the military, a color blind observer readily spot camouflage designed by people with normal vision, the camouflage is like a bright spot. Many camouflage arrangements only works on people with normal vision.
People’s minds arrange data differently, the information is retrieved differently, in different minds there are different experiences, this makes some minds good BS filters, most BS is aimed at people with average arrangements. The people with minds arranged differently from the targeted group find the BS stands out like a beacon, it’s hard for these people to believe others don’t see the errors in the logic.
People with actual depression (30s) experience and people who were raised by people with recent depression experience see BS in the promise of free meals, free health care.
