Nobody but the MP's just walk around with loaded weapons on an army base during a work day unless they're going to the range. The argument that this wouldn't have happened if the shooter didn't have access to guns is true. The military isn't a big free for all, you dumb naive bas___ds. For you dorks that like to point out that the army doesn't have bases, but forts or posts or forward operating bases (FOB's) or COB's, etc...you're missing the point. You don't just walk around your work area with loaded weapons unless there is a reason for it. The army isn't the wild west. Therefore, if this bozo wasn't able to get ahold of guns, this wouldn't have happened.

Daley may have succeded in keeping his city from owning guns, but I do think it ironic that when they don't have guns they simply pick up railroad ties and commit murder that way. What Daley doesn't understand is that if we didn't have guns, violent people would continue to use whatever was handy to victimize others.
