Did Political Correctness Allow Fort Hood Attack?
The warning signs were all there: the justification of homicide bombings; the spewing of anti-American hatred; the efforts to reach Al Qaeda ...
But the U.S. military treated Major Nidal Malik Hasan with kid gloves, even after giving him a poor performance review. And though he was on the radar screen of at least one U.S. intelligence agency, no action was taken that might have prevented the Army psychiatrist from allegedly gunning down 13 people and wounding 29 others in the Fort Hood massacre last week.
"There were definitely clear indications that Hasan's loyalties were not with America," Lt. Col. Val Finnell, Hasan's classmate at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., told FoxNews.com in an exclusive interview. He and Hasan were students in the school's public health master's degree program from 2007-2008.
"There were all sorts of ... comments made throughout the year that made me question his loyalty to the United States, but nothing was done," said Finnell, who recalled one class during which Hasan gave a presentation justifying homicide bombings.
"The issue here is that there's a political correctness climate in the military. They don't want to say anything because it would be considered questioning somebody's religious belief, or they're afraid of an equal opportunity lawsuit.

I read a post here that maybe we should study the Muslim faith so that we know what they believe. The hell with that. I do not see anyone studying my Christian faith to see what I believe to be right. The Quran is easy reading. Pick one up and read it. I recommend it, only because it will reinforce our belief that Islam is not a religion of peace. The extremists are the real problem, but Islam as a whole will defend and support their extremists because, like this terrosist said, they are Muslims first, and everything else after.
I just saw an interview with an FBI agent, who actually had the stupidity to say that "they had to be careful with Hasan because he was a Muslim." Political correctness? The thing that separates this from other attacks is the fact that it was perpetrated by a US Major serving our country. Finding out after the fact that he was or may have been in contact with "AL QAEDA" is even more disturbing to most of us.
This horrible crime may or may not be ever proved to be a organized terror attack- who knows. One thing we need to know- is it a crime to be in contact with our enemy. Unbelievably there seems to be some confusion on this issue.
Otherwise Hasan should have been arrested for contacting the enemy.

Is politically correct and racial profiling the same thing? It seems to me that they are. If the officials in Arizonia, Texas, etc. are looking for the Mexican mafia (cartel) that are importing drugs etc. into our country they are not allowed to concentrate on Mexicans because of racial profiling. Also in this case I think the Army and possibly FBI were afraid to even bring up Hassan's extremist views because of racial profiling.
We have got to get on the right track and save America and Americans from all these nut jobs. Throw out the laws about racial profiling or politicaly correct and give our country back to the American people.

Not only did political correctness contribute to Fort Hood, but the poor results by our school students relative to other nations, the lack of communication lowers the protection to students wanting to study, the politically correct family is disfunctional, both parents must work to pay all the taxes, the children are threatening to call the police if they don't like the way the house is run, the massive influx of printed money is going to be chasing no more good and inflation will bloom, etc.

@K MARX (the Anit-American) Information about Hasan contacting radicals came up in December as Bush was preparing to leave office, and the FBI has confirmed that intelligence never made it to the oval office. That also means the information was available to Obama since his first day in office and he never did anything either.
